Viral Broncos Halloween Decorations Highlight Denver’s Struggles in 2023

You have to love when people get into the holiday spirit. And when you can poke fun at at the Denver Broncos while doing it, it's even better.

It has not been an easy season for the Denver Broncos, that’s for sure. Fresh off their fifth loss of the season to the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football, it feels like anything that can go wrong is going wrong. New head coach Sean Payton inherited a tough situation, and his presence hasn’t, at least yet, looked to make much of a difference.

All that being said, nothing hurts more than adding insult to injury, and with the Broncos in their current state, maybe all they can do is laugh, even if it is at their own expense. Halloween is right around the corner, and as the leaves change colors and the temperature gets colder, people are beginning to get into the Halloween spirit.

A Scary Display for Denver Broncos

These NFL fans took it upon themselves to remind Broncos fans of the horror that was their 70-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins with their Halloween decorations, and it is awesome.

With a television displaying the spooky score, a skeleton sitting there blocking his eyes, and another puking in disgust, these Halloween decorators knocked this display out of the park.

A Broncos watch party reliving that game surely is horror movie stuff for Broncos Nation, and these decorators captured the mood quite perfectly.

    Spooky Outlook for Denver

When the Broncos brought in Payton to be their new head coach, the hope was that he would be able to make the most of the talent on the roster and elevate the team from where they were a year ago. As they sit 1-5 with no joy in sight, it looks to be nothing but scary sights for them in 2023.

With quarterback Russell Wilson under contract for the foreseeable future and no real way out of his cap situation, the Broncos’ only real option at this time is to hope for the best. The team seems to be having a fire sale of sorts, as reports are the team is willing to deal with almost anybody on the roster at this time with an eye for the future.

Randy Gregory was traded to the San Francisco 49ers, and Frank Clark is expected to be released today. More moves are expected for the team as they try and reset their team and hope for a better future than what they have going on now. However, the outlook is grim at best right now.
