Minnesota Vikings Injury Report
Sam Darnold, QB
Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold was limited on Wednesday after apparently picking up right hand injury on Sunday. The Athletic’s Alec Lewis said Darnold appeared to hurt his hand on one of his three Week 10 interceptions.
The good news is that he was upgraded to full on Thursday and Friday. He’s ready to start against the Patriots in Week 11.
Aaron Jones, RB
Aaron Jones was limited on Wednesday and Thursday as he deals with the rib injury he suffered in the Vikings’ win over the Jaguars in Week 10.
Fortunately, Jones fully practiced on Friday and was removed from Minnesoa’s injury report.
He departed last week after taking a hard shot on his 13th carry of the game. While Jones went to the locker room for X-rays, he eventually returned on Sunday, finishing with 17 carries for 88 yards and two carries for 13 more yards.
“The initial hit, I thought it cracked something,” Jones said. “But I’m good.”
Kevin O’Connell said Aaron Jones had some soreness after his rib injury on Sunday that might limit him in practice a bit this week, but he was confident Jones should be ready for Tennessee.

Jones said he was still in pain after coming back into the contest but realized he could still play.
“A lot of blood, sweat, and tears go into it, just for these 17 games,” he said. “When a game is taken away from you, you really feel it. So I’m like, ‘I don’t want to miss any time. I want to get back out there.’ Shoutout to our trainers for taking care of me and making sure I was good to go.”
Jones’ temporary absence confirmed that Cam Akers — who handled 13 carries while Jones was sidelined — is Minnesota’s RB2 ahead of Ty Chandler.
Gabriel Murphy, LB
Head coach Kevin O’Connell told reporters Friday that Murphy (knee) won’t play in Sunday’s matchup against the Titans.
The UCLA product practiced in full Thursday and Friday after being designated to return from injured reserve Nov. 6. However, O’Connell’s comments Friday suggest he’s not ready for in-game action just yet. Murphy’s next chance to take the field will come in Week 12, when the Vikings travel to Chicago. He must still be activated to Minnesota’s active roster in order to suit up next week.

Tennessee Titans Injury Report
Tony Pollard, RB
Tony Pollard (foot) was given a rest day and did not practice on Wednesday.
He was upgraded to a limited practice on Thursday before fully participating on Friday. Pollard is good to go against the Vikings in Week 11.
L’Jarius Sneed, CB
Sneed (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Sneed will miss his fifth consecutive game and doesn’t particularly have a return in clear sight after he’s continued to miss practice this week.
His next chance to play will be next Sunday versus Houston. Darrell Baker will continue to start opposite rookie Jarvis Brownlee at cornerback for Tennessee.
Leroy Watson, OT
Watson (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Vikings. Watson likely sustained a back injury in the Titans’ Week 10 loss to the Chargers, as he was unable to practice all week and is now in line to miss Sunday’s matchup. John Ojukwu is expected to serve as Tennessee’s top right tackle while Watson is sidelined in Week 11.
