Even Tyreek Hill leaves a lasting effect on veteran wide receivers. One moment during the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns contest on Sunday highlights just that.
Tyreek Hill Takes Notice of Odell Beckham Jr. TD Celebration
Early in the third quarter, Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. ended up pulling off a celebration popularized by Hill himself.
Snatching a pass down the middle on a slant route, OBJ took it to the house 40 yards for the touchdown. In the process, he flashed two fingers up on his way to the end zone — mimicking the celebration that the Miami Dolphins star is known for.

The Cheetah, however, sent a warning to OBJ about the gimmick.
“Yeah they fining people for that buddy,” Hill posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Hill watched the play unfold as the Dolphins are on a bye week. OBJ and Baltimore, meanwhile, are currently chasing the AFC’s top seed. However, the Ravens took a step back by losing to the rival Browns 33-31 on a final-second field goal, dropping their record to 7-3.
Reactions to Long Beckham Touchdown
It’s ironic for Beckham. Even on a day his team put up more than 30 points, that catch early in the third quarter was his lone one of the day.
But again, the focus was sorely on OBJ’s homage to Hill on his touchdown catch and run.
“Vintage Odell Beckham Jr.,” said NFL insider for The 33rd Team Ari Meirov.
Complex Sports asked if it was 2016 all over again for Beckham — the season that saw his most receptions (101) and yardage (1,367), plus was his last Pro Bowl year.
Per Next Gen Stats, Beckham nearly reached a speed of 20 miles per hour after his catch. And that’s after enduring surgery from his torn ACL that sidelined him all of 2021.

For Beckham, this long gallop to the end zone becomes his second touchdown for 2023. He earned his first touchdown one week ago in the 37-3 rout of the Seattle Seahawks.

But again, the warning was fired off by Hill in watching a celebration he knows too well. Plus, a celebration that he playfully remembers comes with consequences. He’s gaining the feeling his wide receiver counterpart Beckham is soon going to need to cough up money to the league after scoring the emotional touchdown.
