At the start of the season, there were high hopes for several big-name receivers that haven’t panned out the way fantasy managers anticipated, and injuries have played a part. What is the most up-to-date injury information on Tyreek Hill, Garrett Wilson, and Tyler Lockett?
Latest News and Injury Updates Impacting Fantasy
Tyreek Hill, WR, Miami Dolphins
Hill is nothing short of extraordinary. The speedster is currently the WR1 on the season with over 1,200 yards receiving and nine TDs. He has had three average games where he was WR31, WR37, and WR29, but besides those, every finish has been in the top seven.
The Dolphins had a bit of a scare on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders when Hill was injured in the second quarter after catching a short pass. He left the game briefly and headed to the locker room, but much to fantasy managers’ delight, he returned and finished the game with 146 yards receiving and one TD. He was the WR2 in Week 11.
The Dolphins play on a short week this week, and Hill was considered limited in practice on Tuesday. The star wideout doesn’t seem too concerned about his Week 12 status against the New York Jets. On Monday, he said, “The only thing I’m really bummed about is I won’t be able to play Fortnite.”
Garrett Wilson, WR, New York Jets
Wilson was supposed to be great. But we were all supposed to have Aaron Rodgers, and sometimes we can’t have nice things.
Wilson has been trying to make the best out of a bad situation for fantasy, and he’s currently the WR29 on the season. His best finish has been WR15 (Week 10).

It hasn’t just been a Zach Wilson problem, either. Prior to Week 11 against Buffalo, Wilson had been limited in practice throughout the week, battling an elbow issue. He ended up suiting up but had a bad week.
Wilson is a tough guy, and I expect him to continue to play through injury as long as it’s not incapacitating. He was limited in practice on Tuesday, and the Jets will take on Miami this week with Tim Boyle under center.
Tyler Lockett, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Lockett has been dealing with a hamstring issue for what seems like the entire season. He is currently the WR26 on the season, but Weeks 8 through 11 have been punctuated with limited and missed practices, and his fantasy production has suffered.
Lockett didn’t practice at all prior to Week 11 but ended up playing against the Los Angeles Rams. This week, the Seattle Seahawks pass catcher was limited on the team’s Monday estimated practice report.
