Conklin averaged 4.2 yards of separation on his targets in 2022, the highest among all tight ends who had at least 70 targets.

Conklin has been a model of consistency lately. In 2021 with the Vikings, Conklin had 61 catches for 593 yards (9.7 yards per catch), and in 2022 with the Jets, he caught 58 passes for 552 yards (9.5 yards per catch). He also had 3 TD receptions each season.
In 2021 26 of his receptions (43%) went for first downs. Last season, 25 of his 58 receptions (43%) went for first downs.
Will that consistent play continue for Conklin? Well, for tonight, all the signs point to another decent effort. Conklin has had exactly four receptions in each of his last two Week 1 games, and last season one of his three TD receptions came in Week 1.

But I wouldn’t look to Conklin to get a touchdown tonight. The Bills were the only team in the NFL that did not allow a TD reception to a tight end last season.
That said, while it’s not the greatest value out there at -125, I still believe that Conklin will easily surpass his receptions prop total vs. the Bills.
