As we head towards 2024 NFL free agency, the new league year officially starts on March 13. Teams will have tough decisions to make, and that certainly looks to be the case for Tyler Boyd and his impending free agency.
The Cincinnati Bengals are reportedly turning their attention to WR Tee Higgins in hopes of keeping him around, so Boyd may be the odd man out in Cincinnati. With plenty of offseason left and ample time for things to change, we look at possible landing spots for the talented wide receiver ahead of the start of free agency.
Tyler Boyd Free Agency Landing Spots
It’s a crowded offense in Cincinnati with several mouths to feed. Despite that, Boyd has still found a way to be productive when called upon. Between Ja’Marr Chase, Higgins, and the rushing attack, one could understand why Boyd could end up being the forgotten man at times.
All that said, Boyd still compiled 67 receptions, 667 receiving yards, and two touchdowns last season. He’s proven to be a quality WR in the NFL, and even if he’s not a Bengal, Boyd has earned the right to be a more featured piece of an offense. We list a few spots that could make sense for him to achieve that.
Another Weapon for Jalen Hurts in Philadelphia
A lot is still up in the air this offseason, and how the Philadelphia Eagles configure their roster is chief among them. While Boyd would come in and likely be the WR3 in Philadelphia’s current configuration behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, there’s no guarantee that it will stay that way heading into the new season.
There have been conversations about Brown and his potential trade value. Even if he isn’t moved, the Eagles are unafraid of attacking free agency to add more weapons.
Boyd as a solid No. 2, or even an excellent No. 3 once again in a change of scenery, could make a ton of sense for both parties involved.
Steelers Could Look To Add Talent to Stagnant Offense
No one knows for sure just who will be under center for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024. Regardless, the team needs to add more offensive weapons to help them out.
Boyd is familiar with the Steelers as a foe and would be an excellent piece to add to the room to go with George Pickens and Co. This gives Pittsburgh another weapon and a chance for Boyd to have a more prominent role as a featured wide receiver — a true win-win for both the team and player.
Titans Could Load Up With Help for Will Levis
Will Levis looks to be the man for the job in Tennessee, and now it’s about maximizing his ability, especially while on his rookie deal. Insert Boyd into the mix, and you have another outside weapon to help Levis take the next step in Year 2 and beyond.
The Titans were unafraid to add DeAndre Hopkins into the mix last year. And with new head coach Brian Callahan coming over from Cincinnati and Boyds’ most recent offensive coordinator, the connection between the two is strong and makes sense.

Now, the Titans could look to add a younger WR to the team with a chance to prove he’s every bit as good as the teammates he left in Cincy, in a system he’s very familiar with.
