Tyler Booker had a good season as an offensive lineman for the Alabama Crimson Tide. While he still had one year of eligibility remaining, he opted to enter the 2025 NFL Draft. It appears to have been a smart decision as he was projected to be drafted at No. 25 in PFSN’s latest seven-round 2025 NFL mock draft by Jacob Infante.
However, you don’t reach that point without some confidence — and Booker gave a peek behind the curtain on the kind of confidence he plays with when battling in the trenches.

Tyler Booker Says He Does Not Show Mercy to His Opponents
Booker is at the NFL Scouting Combine to showcase his skills and improve his draft stock. During a press conference on March 1, he spoke about what he plans to bring to the NFL. He said that he plans to make other players fall out of love with the game of football with his aggressive play.
“Adversity is going to hit, and how are you going to respond? And then everybody loves to play football when it’s easy, but who loves to play football when it’s hard?” Booker asked.
“I feel like that’s what separates the good guys from the great guys in the game of football; and ultimately, I just love the aggressiveness and the tenacity of the game of football — like how it’s legal assault out there. I love football because the brand of football I play, I make guys not love football anymore.”
“I do that every down by really just giving them my all and letting them know I’m not going to let up. So, the thing I love most about football is taking the love away from other people.”

In Infante’s mock draft for PFSN, he had Booker being selected by the Houston Texans at No. 25.

“After a tremendous 2023, the Houston Texans’ offense took a step back in 2024. Part of that came down to injuries at the wide receiver position, but another aspect of the regression was inconsistent offensive line play,” Infante said.
“Tyler Booker has a squatty frame with a powerful anchor that makes it difficult for opposing defenders to push the pocket against him. He’s also quite an impressive athlete for a bigger guard, giving him plenty of potential once he gets to the next level.”
It will be interesting to see if Booker indeed rises up the rankings to become a first-round pick.
