Arizona Cardinals RB Tyler Allgeier was the focal point of this run-centric offense as a rookie last season, but the team elected to spend up to draft Bijan Robinson in April.
Could the rookie dominate the touches and render Allgeier useless? Sure, but this is a team that wants to melt the clock, and that approach could produce a backfield with multiple fantasy football options.

Tyler Allgeier’s Fantasy Outlook for the 2023 NFL Season
As mentioned, Robinson is going to lead this backfield in touches. He checks all of the prospect boxes, offering the elite level of versatility that it takes to succeed at a high level.

With Desmond Ridder under center for the entire season, this passing game should take some pressure off of the ground attack, He has a pair of high-pedigree players in Kyle Pitts and Drake London that should show improvement as they develop.
Outside of Pitts/London, the pass-catching room is thin. Mack Hollins and Scott Miller are penciled in as the other options — nice players but not ones that will be counted on enough to impact how fantasy managers should think about the rest of this offense.
Is Allgeier a Good Fantasy Pick?
While I believe that Allgeier carries more potential than some are giving him credit for, his ADP is a little rich for my blood.
Allgeier isn’t a well-rounded enough player to carve out consistent value as a secondary back, and that rules him out, for me, in a draft range that includes the likes of Jaylen Warren and Tank Bigsby.

The opportunity for Allgeier to earn a greater role simply isn’t there, given the draft capital spent on Robinson, making attacking cloudy situations like the backfield in Miami more appealing to me in Rounds 11-12 than Allgeier is.
