Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson was injured early in the second quarter today against the San Francisco 49ers. Here is the latest information on the star defensive player.
Latest Trey Hendrickson Injury Update
Hendrickson had his foot stepped on by a San Francisco offensive lineman and was helped off the field by a couple of Bengals trainers.
Joseph Ossai replaced Hendrickson, but Hendrickson returned on the next drive. Hendrickson is the team’s sack leader with seven, which was one shy of the NFL lead heading into the team’s bye last week.

Hendrickson played through a back injury earlier in the season. He missed two games with a wrist injury last season but has mostly been able to fight through various ailments since joining the Bengals in 2021.
Since signing with Cincinnati in free agency in the 2021 offseason, Hendrickson has 29 sacks, which ranks eighth in the league in that span.
