“Stay Out of Our Business” — Trevon Diggs Responds to Dak Prescott Conflict Rumors

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs responded to comments regarding the trash-talking video involving quarterback Dak Prescott.

A few days ago, a clip went viral of Dallas Cowboys’ cornerback Trevon Diggs trash-talking Dak Prescott, telling him to “shut his b***h a** up.” This may have all been in the spirit of competition, but some have taken it as a sign that Prescott isn’t respected as the team’s leader and franchise quarterback.

Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy believes that the language Diggs used with Prescott, the face of the franchise, shows a lack of respect for him.

“I played with Michael Vick, played with Tom Brady, played with Josh Allen, played with Patrick Mahomes, nobody on the team would even fix they lips to say something like that to the quarterback.”

McCoy also adds that he thinks some of the players are tired of Prescott being the “face” of the team, despite blowing multiple close games.

I have to say, I couldn’t see a Chiefs teammate saying those things to Mahomes. Diggs, meanwhile, responded to McCoy’s statements, saying he sounds dumb.

Another Cowboys defender, Jourdan Lewis, took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the situation.

Prescott said the trash-talking is started by him in the locker room and that it usually continues on the practice field. Diggs told the media to “stay out of our business” when asked about how his trash-talking could be perceived as a lack of respect for Prescott.

Dak was drafted by Dallas back in 2016 and has proven to be the team’s franchise quarterback. However, the lights are brighter in Dallas, and the expectations are heightened. He’s been to three divisional games but has yet to win a single one. Prescott is going to have to take Dallas into a deep playoff run in 2023 to try to escape this narrative that has been placed on him.
