Chiefs TE Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Net Worths Compared

The NFL schedule continues and even though most fans are interested in how their respective teams are doing, one of the biggest storylines of the season is actually off the field. If you were not aware (do you live under a rock?) Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and superstar Taylor Swift are dating.

Their relationship brings a ton of questions, but one of the first tends to be focused on their respective net worths. Both are already wealthy and worth millions. But who has the higher net worth, Kelce or Swift?

Taylor Swift’s Net Worth: How Much Is The Country/Pop Singer Worth?

Is Swift a billionaire now, with all of her accolades and endorsements? According to Forbes, her 2023 net worth was $740 million, and her finances have seen an increase during the last decade.

In 2020, Swift was worth $550 million. Then that number trended upward to $570 million, and now, she’s nearing the $800 million mark. She’s gotten there by putting out consistent No. 1 albums in a music career that began at the age of 16.

However, not long after her relationship with Kelce came into focus, Swift did something few other artists have ever done, she became a billionaire. According to a Bloomberg analysis, thanks to Swift’s incredibly popular Eras tour, Swift’s total net worth is currently at $1.1 billion.

What Is Travis Kelce’s Net Worth?

Kelce is indeed a millionaire but makes much, much less than Swift.

The two-time Super Bowl winner has a net worth of $30 million. For his play, Kelce earns an average annual salary of $14,312,500. For 2023, Kelce has a base salary of $11,250,000.

He is still under a four-year deal that pays up to $57.25 million. But still, with the money he makes as a perennial Pro Bowler and now multiple-time Super Bowl winner, one would think that Kelce is massively underpaid.

Yet, the Chiefs captain said back in June 2023 that he’s fine being underpaid.

“My managers and agents love to tell me how underpaid I am,” Kelce said in an interview with Vanity Fair. But he added, “I’m like, the free market looks like fun until you go somewhere and you don’t win. I love winning. I love the situation I’m in.”

It’s obviously clear he likes this other situation he’s in — one that involves Swift being in the picture.

And while Swift has a higher net worth, Kelce witnessed a spike in social media followers. Kelce now has more than three million followers on his Instagram after being spotted with Swift after the Chiefs’ Week 3 romp of the Chicago Bears.
