Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is known for being super supportive of his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Recently, during an appearance on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show,” Kelce opened up about how he supports Swift when she’s creating new music.

Travis Kelce Showers Taylor Swift With Support

Kelce’s supportive nature has been on display in various ways since the couple started dating around August 2023.

First of all, he followed her on her “Eras Tour” during the offseason, even traveling overseas and appearing on stage at one of her concerts.

He has also prioritized her during the NFL season, going out of his way to make her birthday and Christmas special even though it conflicted with the Chiefs’ regular-season schedule.

As we found out recently, he has also been helping her with her music, serving as the inspiration for many of her latest hits and bringing positive energy to the studio.

Many who follow Swift know that she has written about past loves in her music, and oftentimes, the songs have been critical of her former flings.

Well, that’s not the case with Kelce.

During an interview on “The Pat McAfee Show,” his support for Swift’s creative process came up.

“Let’s just say you’re hanging out, having a little dinner,  and all of a sudden the creative juice sparks,” McAfee said. “The absolute beast that you’re sitting with, who is going to go down as maybe the most famous icon in the history of music, starts thinking, ‘Uhh, I like that.’ So, are you a motivator every single time?”

“C’mon now, you know it!” Kelce responded. “I’ll never chime in, but you already know, I’m here to support it. I’m here to see where it can go.”

McAfee also asked Kelce if he knew if Swift was making any new music, perhaps some positive dating songs, and he got Kelce to admit that he may have heard a few new songs.

“There might be a few,” Kelce said. “I don’t know, there might be a few.”

McAfee asked directly: “Have you heard any? Are you a test ear?”

“You know I can’t say any of that,” Kelce said with a smile. “I hear music everywhere.”

McAfee shouted out Kelce for giving Swift some positive inspiration rather than treating her poorly like past boyfriends.

“You’re a gentleman, pal. You need to know that. You continue to represent football [players] in a beautiful way, legitimately. We appreciate you. … There are so many f***boys out there, and I’ve heard about them all because my wife and I have listened to all of the albums! I’ve heard about them all! I appreciate you, dude.”

“Just trying to represent the boys, man,” Kelce responded. “Just trying to represent the boys.”

Kelce isn’t the only supportive member of this relationship. Swift has shown up for her boyfriend as well. Since almost the beginning, we’ve seen her in the stands at Chiefs games.

This season, she has attended seven games and the Chiefs are 7-0 when she is in the building. She was also on hand for Kansas City’s win over the San Francisco 49ers in last year’s Super Bowl.

Although the pair are still going strong and spending a ton of time together, their relationship hasn’t been as high-profile as it was last year when it was brand new.

While the attention has died down a bit, the Swifties are waiting with bated breath for Kelce to pop the question and for the pair to get married.
