Travis Kelce’s Ex, Kayla Nicole, Unfollowed Caitlin Clark After She Sat in Taylor Swift’s Box at Chiefs-Texans Game

Kayla Nicole made an interesting social media choice after Caitlin Clark appeared in the VIP booth with Taylor Swift during the Chiefs-Texans game.

Over two years removed from her relationship with Travis Kelce, Kayla Nicole seems to have resentment for people found in association with the Kansas City Chiefs’ star.

Fans from social media tracked down her Instagram tab of followers and found something to talk about (rather, who’s she’s not following).

Kayla Nicole Unfollows Caitlin Clark After Her Taylor Swift Meetup at Chiefs vs. Texans

Caitlin Clark and Taylor Swift met in public for the first time over this past weekend. The two of them were seated in the same VIP box after the global megastar invited the face of the WNBA to attend Chiefs vs. Texans at Arrowhead Stadium.

Clark herself is well-known as a Swiftie and had recently attended one of her The Eras Tour concerts at Indianapolis. She was also a much-vaunted guest with Kelce on the “New Heights” podcast with his brother Jason, where she revealed the story of how she converted all of her family members into Swifties.

Needless to say, the two young achievers seem to have found a lot in common as trailblazers in their respective paths.

However, Nicole did not seem to like this association between the superstars. An indication of this is her unfollowing the rising superstar of women’s basketball on Instagram.

She has gone on record several times over the past two years talking about how her breakup with Kelce, whom she dated on-and-off for five years, had left her feeling low. Could some of her resentment about him getting together with Swift is bubbling over?

However, Nicole continues to enjoy the 35-year-old tight end’s exploits on the field. In a recent podcast appearance, the reporter praised the Chiefs’ red-zone offense in contrast to Mark Andrews’ inopportunely timed drop for the Baltimore Ravens, noting how Kelce remains a big threat:

“They have guys they can throw the ball to who aren’t going to drop the ball in the end zone. Travis Kelce — that’s a tight end that’s not gonna [drop the ball].”

Nonetheless, she also remarked in somewhat tongue-in-cheek fashion that she’d rather see the Bills beat the Chiefs in the AFC Championship. When asked why, her explanation was that she’s gotten bored of the Chiefs’ dominance and she’d like to see a new team in the Super Bowl.

If Nicole has indeed moved on from her relationship with the NFL’s premier tight end, she’s having a rather difficult time proving that.
