It appears Chiefs Kingdom has a new member, thanks to the efforts of All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce.
And this member also has ties to Taylor Swift … her father.
Travis Kelce on Meeting Taylor Swift’s Father in Argentina
Kelce detailed his meeting with Scott Swift, father of the country/pop sensation, on the Wednesday edition of his New Heights podcast alongside his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.
The Chiefs All-Pro met Scott Swift down in Argentina during the singer’s international Eras Tour. The show originally got off to a rough start, as inclement weather led to the postponement of the first night.
Meanwhile, at first, Kelce and Swift’s dad didn’t appear to get off to a good start, as Kelce was caught leaving Scott Swift hanging. In a viral clip from one of Swift’s Buenos Aires shows, the father is seen trying to high-five the Chiefs star, who doesn’t acknowledge him.
“Mr. Swift, I apologize, big guy. I never miss a high-five,” Kelce said.

However, there was a positive for Kelce after that interaction mishap: Scott Swift, noticeably, was wearing a Chiefs logo on his lanyard.
“Got ‘em all over here to the good side, baby,” Kelce said.
Jason Kelce Has Funny Response to Scott Swift Crossing Over
Jason Kelce, however, jokingly shook his head when he learned that Scott Swift had joined Chiefs Kingdom.
“Scott, what are we doing, Scott?” Jason said.
The Swift family resided near Philadelphia. The Grammy winner is from West Reading, Pennsylvania. Her 71-year-old father is from Bryn Mawr, located approximately 30 minutes away from Philadelphia.
“One by one, we’re getting all the good ones,” the Chiefs Pro Bowler said in gaining new fans.
Jason Kelce, though, was still disappointed that the Chiefs are luring in new fans who represent the Keystone State and the Philly region.
“You’re going to let this man’s devilishly good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott?” he said.
Travis Kelce headed down to Argentina as his Chiefs were on a bye week. Kansas City currently holds the best record in the AFC at 7-2 overall.
But on Nov. 20, the Chiefs will face Jason Kelce and the defending NFC champion Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium in the highly anticipated rematch of Super Bowl 57 — no official word yet if any member of the Swift family will be in attendance.
