Top Prospects To Watch at 2025 NFL Combine Include Ashton Jeanty, Tyler Warren, and Others

The NFL has released its list of 329 players invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. Here's a look at some of the top prospects expected to attend.

The NFL has released the list of all 329 prospects invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. From Feb. 24 to March 3, players will interview with teams, undergo medical tests, and take part in on-field workouts. The athletic testing and positional drills will generate the most attention among fans, but the events leading up to it are equally as important to NFL teams, if not more so.

Top 2025 NFL Scouting Combine Invitees

Out of those 329 players, there will be a select few who will receive extra attention at the NFL Combine. These are some of the top prospects to watch this year.

    Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Coming off of a unanimous All-American season, Ashton Jeanty finds himself the consensus top running back in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Given how productive he was and how good his tape looked in 2024, Jeanty will likely be a first-round pick come April. That said, some have questions regarding exactly how good his top speed is when he breaks away into the open field.

Jeanty should be a Round 1 player regardless, but if he runs a good enough 40-yard dash, don’t be shocked if a team takes a shot on him in the top 10.

    Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

As the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Travis Hunter is naturally going to have several eyes on him at the 2025 NFL Combine.

The most interesting storyline with him probably won’t revolve around his testing numbers, as he’s plenty athletic on tape. Rather, it will be interesting to see how many cornerback workouts he does compared to wide receiver workouts.

The dual-threat superstar was listed as a defensive back in the NFL’s released list of participants, but his production and talent on offense make it likely he’ll continue to contribute as a pass catcher in some capacity. It will be interesting to see how Hunter fares against other top receiver prospects.

    Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

Tyler Warren is just a few months removed from a first-team All-American season, and his explosion of production in 2024 has him widely considered a first-round talent in this year’s draft.

With 104 receptions for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns this past season, there’s more than a large enough sample size for Warren as a pass-catching tight end. He’s also shown plenty on tape to be encouraged about as a blocker.

Warren has the physicality, size, ball skills, and hands to project as a good starting tight end in the NFL. Some analysts criticize his overall speed, though, as he doesn’t have the blazing athleticism of a Brock Bowers coming out of school. With a good enough 40-yard dash time, Warren could easily shut down any questions about his athletic upside.

    Will Campbell, OT, LSU

Will Campbell will be an interesting player to watch at the 2025 NFL Combine, but it’s not mainly because of how he’ll perform on the field.

Those who have watched Campbell play at LSU know how talented of an offensive lineman he is. He has the play strength, hand usage, spatial awareness, and body control needed to project as a high-quality starter at the next level.

The Combine will serve as an opportunity to get a verified measurement of his arm length, which has been a popular topic of discussion. If his arms measure in at sub-33 inches, there’s a chance more teams could consider him as a guard. Since top tackle prospects usually get drafted before top guard prospects due to positional value, Campbell’s arm length could have an effect on where he lands.

    Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

Mason Graham gets many of the headlines as the top defensive tackle in the 2025 NFL Draft, and rightfully so. However, it’s his Michigan teammate I’m most excited to watch at the Combine this year.

Kenneth Grant is a tremendous run defender, leveraging ideal pad level and weight distribution to maximize his powerful frame and eat up gaps. While he’d get plenty of NFL looks off of his run defense alone, what separates Grant from the bunch is how freakishly athletic he is for someone who’s listed at 339 pounds.

Similarly to Dontari Poe in 2012, Grant is a mammoth of a man who moves incredibly well for his size. He should run the 40-yard dash in under five seconds, just as Poe did coming out of Memphis. Given that Poe was the No. 11 overall pick with a similar skill set, it wouldn’t be surprising if Grant ends up selected in a similar range if he tests well.

    Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

The 2025 NFL Draft has a loaded class of edge rushers, and while Mike Green might not be the first one off the board, he’ll arguably be the most enticing to watch at the Combine this year.

As the FBS’ leading sack artist in 2024, Green put together a tremendous campaign that saw him earn first-team All-American recognition. He made an appearance before the season in Bruce Feldman’s Freaks List at The Athletic, indicating he comes highly regarded in terms of how he tests athletically and in the weight room.

Green’s stock is red hot coming off of a strong 2024 season and a dominant performance at the Senior Bowl. He seems like a likely first-round pick, but if he pairs those things with a strong outing at the NFL Combine, he could start flirting with top-15 looks.
