Top OTs at the 2024 Senior Bowl: Tyler Guyton, Kingsley Suamataia Toughen the Tackles

The 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl boasts a deep, talented offensive tackle class. Which OT prospects should you keep an eye on this week?

The 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl is here and brings a talented group of prospects with it. This offensive tackle class is as good as it has ever been, and there are so many tantalizing prospects headed down to Mobile.

Are any of this year’s Senior Bowl offensive tackles destined for top NFL Draft picks and stardom?

    Senior Bowl OT Rankings

This year’s offensive tackle class is riddled with upside and should bring some dynamic battles with the talented pass rushers in the Senior Bowl.

Here’s how those OTs stack up against one another at this stage of their prospective NFL Draft journey.

    1) Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma

Every year, we seemingly find an offensive tackle with some jaw-dropping traits. This year, that’s Tyler Guyton. His movement skills, especially out in pass protection, are fantastic, and he will shine in drills out in space. He has plenty to iron out with his technique, but Guyton’s tools will likely see him be the first offensive player drafted from the Senior Bowl.

    2) Kingsley Suamataia, BYU

A simply dominant blocker, Kingsley Suamataia is the epitome of the term “mauler.” The cousin of Penei Sewell, Suamataia combines a massive frame with dominant strength and athleticism. He is one of the youngest prospects in the Senior Bowl, and it shows in his game, but the tools will certainly see him shine and produce some highlight reel blocks in Mobile.

    3) Brandon Coleman, TCU

TCU sent Steve Avila to the Senior Bowl last season and boosted his stock to the beginning of the second round. It wouldn’t surprise me if Brandon Coleman does the same this season.

The Horned Frog standout has tackle/guard versatility, with multiple starts at left tackle and both guard spots. However, he projects well at tackle. A massive player, he is an incredible mover for his frame and displays good use of hands and clean footwork despite battling injuries.

Over the last several years, we’ve seen plenty of offensive linemen utilize the Senior Bowl to elevate their draft stock. I wouldn’t be shocked if he was one of the biggest risers in this draft class coming out of his week in Mobile.

    4) Roger Rosengarten, Washington

Roger Rosengarten is a tad underrated on that Washington Huskies offensive line, but he is a clean, stout right tackle prospect. How Rosengarten handles bull rushers in the 1-on-1s will be key, but he has the tools and technique to mirror rushers around the arc and start from Day 1.

    5) Patrick Paul, Houston

Much like Tyler Guyton, Patrick Paul is all tools. He is a phenomenal athlete in space, with great length and play strength but needs plenty of coaching before his play can match the tools. However, he isn’t completely raw and has improved every year at Houston. He would ideally sit behind a stalwart aging tackle for a season to develop before emerging as a starter.
