MSN Slideshow Top 10 NFL Rushing Yardage Leaders 2024 By Pro Football Network FacebookTwitterReddItFlipLinkedinEmail January 8, 2025 | 9:45 AM EST Share FacebookTwitterReddItFlipLinkedinEmail 1 of 10 Bucky Irving led all rookies in rushing yards this season as he added a dynamic component to a Baker Mayfield-reliant Tampa Bay offense. On the year, he finished with 1,122 rushing yards, with his highest yardage game coming in an OT thriller against the Carolina Panthers when he had 152 rushing yards. Sam Darnold got all the love for the Minnesota Vikings, but Aaron Jones was invaluable for the Minnesota Vikings thriving on offense. He finished the year with 1,1388 rushing yards, including a 106-yard outburst in an OT thriller against the Chicago Bears. The resurgence of Bryce Young in the second half overshadowed what had been arguably the best year of Chuba Hubbard's career. Despite appearing in just 15 games, he tallied 1,195 rushing yards on the year, including a 153-yard outing against the New York Giants in a rare win for the Carolina Panthers. With Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua dealing with injuries, the Los Angeles Rams decided to establish a dominant run game and Kyren Williams responded in kind. In 16 games, he compiled 1,299 yards on the ground, with a season-high 122 yards in Week 16 against the New York Jets. Coming over from the Las Vegas Raiders, Josh Jacobs made himself an integral part of the Green Bay Packers playbook by exploding for 1,329 rushing yards on the year. His best game came in a scary outing for Green Bay as they barely survived the Jacksonville Jaguars behind his 127 yards on the ground. Ben Johnson's creativity found the perfect outlet in Jahmyr Gibbs who responded with a career year, totaling 1,412 yards on the ground for the season. Lethal in the endzone, his best game of the year came in a 1-seed clinching final game of the NFL regular season as he tallied 139 yards. Single-handedly keeping the Indianapolis Colts in the playoff picture late in the season, Jonathan Taylor totaling 1,431 yards in just 14 games feels impossible. However with eight games crossing 100 yards, including a 218-yard masterpiece in Week 16, made the impossible a reality. While many in the Falcons fanbase though Bijan Robinson didn't set the world on fire, he still had a highly dominant season totaling 1,456 yards on the ground. His best game was saved for last, as he tallied 170 yards in Week 18 against the Carolina Panthers. One of the biggest offseason signings of the season, Derrick Henry dominated in his first season with the Baltimore Ravens, posting 1,921 rushing yards and breaking multiple games open on a bulldozing run. He was at his best against the Buffalo Bills early in the year, tallying 199 yards, although he did cross the 100-yard mark an additional eight times. Should he have played in Week 18 is a question that will echo through eternity. However, the hypothetical doesn't take away from the mind-boggling season that Saquon Barkley had in his first season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Becoming the ninth player in NFL history to break 2,000 rushing yards in a season, he finished the year with 2,005. His video game numbers even saw a 255-yard explosion against the Rams, with 10 more games crossing the 100-yard mark.
