However, in year one, the youngster tallied 310 rushing yards and showed flashes of immense upside that the team could build upon. Braelon Allen wasn't many opportunities with the likes of Breece Hall handling rushing for the New York Jets. However, even in a limited sample, the rookie had some solid production, totaling 334 rushing yards on the season. Injuries forced the San Francisco 49ers to keep going deeper into the bench for a running game. That is how rookie Isaac Guerendo found extended playing time. But like any other RB in a Shanahan system, Guerendo was sublime, tallying 420 rushing yards on the season. A porous offensive line pushed Drake Maye to think outside the box and utilize his scrambling abilities. But, no one could have anticipated that the QB would end up with the 7th most rushing yards among all rookies with 421 yards. While it was bombs away for the Denver Broncos, Bo Nix did use some of his elite physical gifts in open space as well. Many a times, he would scramble for extra yardage, ending up with 430 rushing yards on the year. James Cook, thanks to a 1,000-yard rushing season, and Josh Allen, with 11 rushing TDs, got most of the hype for the Buffalo Bills' ground game. However, rookie Ray Davis also had a sizeable impact on the offense, tallying 442 yards on the season. Despite 68 sacks, Caleb Williams somehow still found his way this high up the list. Ever so often, Williams would scramble for yardage. Eventually, the play became wildly successful, netting him 489 rushing yards on the year. Malik Nabers got most of the attention for the New York Giants. However, Tyrone Tracy Jr. was also a home-run selection from them. The rookie RB tallied 839 yards on the season, including a 145-yard outing against the Pittsburgh Steelers. A phenomenal rookie season, in which he led the Washington Commanders back to the playoffs, saw Jayden Daniels explode onto the scene as a dual-threat quarterback. As explosive as his passing was, Daniels was truly special on the ground, recording 891 rushing yards on the year. Baker Mayfield might have been the focus. But Bucky Irving was critical for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers winning the Division and reaching the playoffs. The rookie was productive all year round, totaling 1,122 rushing yards, with a 152-yard outing against Carolina standing as his best game of the year.
