While he was sublime passing the ball, the former No. 1 overall pick also scrambled for 378 yards out of the pocket. His best game rushing came in the final week of the year when he had 68 total yards on nine attempts. Behind a porous offensive line, scrambling became a necessity for Drake Maye. However, the rookie answered the challenge, rushing for 421 yards in just 13 games of action. His best rushing game came early in the middle of the season when he had 95 yards on just eight carries against the Tennessee Titans. Not only did Bo Nix deliver the second-most passing TDs from a rookie in NFL history, he also showed off his physical tools in space, rushing for 430 yards on the season. While he was a constant scrambler, his gains were always minimal and consistent, leading to a season-high mark of just 42 in two games, once each against the Las Vegas Raiders and the Seattle Seahawks. The rookie season may not have gone exactly as many anticipated. However, Caleb Williams was able to rush for 489 yards, which given his near-rookie record 68 sacks was a minor miracle. His best game on the ground came in a nailbiter against the Green Bay Packers when he had 70 yards on just nine carries. Despite being benched twice, Anthony Richardson showcased enough of his elite physical benefits to warrant a second look. In just 11 games, he rushed for 499 yards, including a 70-yard tally before his season ended against the Tennessee Titans. MVP favorite Josh Allen had to take control of the entire Buffalo Bills offense and he did that aplomb. On top of his elite passing numbers, he even scrambled for 531 yards on the year. His high mark for the season came in an iconic shootout against the Los Angeles Rams when he had 82 yards rushing on 10 attempts. The Arizona Cardinals could not make the playoffs behind a woeful defense. However, Kyler Murray established a dominant run game to go along with his passing. For the year, he compiled 572 rushing yards, with a monster 83 yard performance in an upset over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5. The tush push wasn't as prevalent this season but Jalen Hurts was once again lethal in the ground game. On the year, he tallied 630 rushing yards, including an explosive 85-yard game in Week 2. Jayden Daniels proved all the Lamar Jackson comparisons right. In his rookie season, his dynamic QB style saw him finish second in the league for rushing yards by a QB with 891 yards. His ground game made Washington the single-best fourth-down team, but he was also elite for chunk plays, as evidenced in his 127-yard outburst in Week 17. The greatest rushing QB in NFL history took home this year's rushing yards title among QBs. In the best passing season of his career, Jackson was still good for 903 yards, including two instances of 87 yards to bookend the year.
