As a result, he earned another trip to the playoffs and recorded 25 passing touchdowns on the year. His high point of the season came early as in a return from injury, he hit 4 TDs on a top-5 defense in the Minnesota Vikings. While his rushing became the talk of the town, Jayden Daniels was exceptional as a passer as well. Leading the way for the Washington Commanders to the playoffs, the rookie totaled 25 passing touchdowns, including a five touchdown explosion in Week 16 against Philadelphia. Even in a down year, Patrick Mahomes was good for the ninth-most passing touchdowns in the league with 26. While he never went ballistic, Mahomes found four different instances where he tallied 3 passing TDs. The New York Jets as a whole had a terrible year and Aaron Rodgers might end up not coming back. But he still found a way to tally 28 passing touchdowns, including a four TD masterpiece in the final week of the season. An MVP candidate and rightfully so, Josh Allen tallied 28 passing touchdowns to go along with his 12 rushing touchdowns. The high point of his season came early in the year when he tallied 4 TDs against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The second rookie to make the list, Bo Nix led the Denver Broncos back to the playoffs on the back of 29 passing touchdowns, the second highest mark for a rookie QB in NFL history. It was in the final week with a chance to clinch a playoff berth that Nix had his best showing, dishing four TDs in a 38-0 shutout. As he flipped the script on his career, Sam Darnold was sending dimes to the lethal duo of Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison en route to 35 touchdowns on the season. His best outing for a 14-3 Vikings squad came against the Atlanta Falcons when he had five passing touchdowns alongside 347 yards. As the Detroit Lions got increasingly creative under Ben Johnson, it also allowed Jared Goff to notch 37 touchdowns on the year, including a thriller against the Buffalo Bills in which he had 5 tuddys. While his MVP buzz died down, Baker Mayfield put up numbers worthy of the distinction with 41 passing touchdowns on the season. All year, he was consistent, but his best outing came against the Carolina Panthers in Week 17 when he threw five TDs with his receiving core back. One of the MVP front-runners, Lamar Jackson had his best passing season, and one of the best passing seasons in NFL history, tallying 41 touchdowns against just four interceptions. He even had two separate outings, against Tampa Bay and the Giants, where he tallied five passing touchdowns. They may have missed the playoffs but Joe Burrow led the entire NFL in passing touchdowns with 43. Like Lamar, he too had two different games, against his Ravens and the Raiders, where he threw for five endzone conversions.
