Tennessee Titans fans really do not like head coach Brian Callahan’s plan to play both quarterbacks in next week’s season finale against the Houston Texans. Callahan plans on playing both Will Levis and Mason Rudolph in some fashion, but fans are clearly against it.
Titans Fans Detest Callahan’s Rotating Quarterback Plan
Callahan came out of Tennessee’s Week 17 game and said for the last game of the season that he is going to take a long look at both quarterbacks and let them both see action against Houston.
The fans have taken to social media to voice their disapproval after Nashville sports writer Jim Wyatt announced the coach’s plan on the platform formerly known as Twitter.
.@Titans HC Brian Callahan: The plan is to play both QBs Will Levis and Mason Rudolph on Sunday in the finale vs Texans
— Jim Wyatt (@jwyattsports) December 30, 2024
Wyatt received many replies to his post, which has gone viral.
If they win this game it would be the biggest punch to the face to titans fans, ever. If they do win I hope literally no one goes to a single home game next year, they don’t deserve the fans.

The Twitter user in the above post is not alone in his thoughts. Many fans believe Callahan is sending the wrong message to the team and the fan base.
One fan took to social media to ensure the Titans lose next week as he does not want to lose Tennessee’s draft position, which currently sits at No. 2 overall.
Assuming the Titans stay or move into the top spot, fans will want them to use the pick on either quarterback Shedeur Sanders or QB Cam Ward — a real starter who won’t have to alternate with anyone.
One fan responded to Wyatt, calling Callahan an embarrassment to the fan base and to the team. He questioned whether or not Callahan actually knew what he was doing and voiced his discontent for him as a coach.
What a terrible coach, so embarrassing, man has no clue

“I just hate him so much,” another disgruntled fan posted.
Callahan treating our team as if it’s a high school team that’s playing their last game of the season that don’t have a chance to make the playoffs, so hey, let’s let everybody play 🙄 what a joke 😂

Another fan called the entire situation a joke, claiming that “Callahan treating our team as if it’s a high school that’s playing their last game of the season…”
Titans fans are mostly in unison, probably hoping that the last week of the season remains a joke and that Tennessee will be guaranteed a top-two pick with a loss.
Ward or Sanders would likely do well in Nashville and would certainly regenerate the fans. Both are electric players who are capable of extending plays and making the players around them better.
This season has, obviously, not gone as planned for the Titans, and a change is clearly in order. Their 3-13 record is among the worst in this once-proud franchise’s history.
