What time does the Thursday Night Football game start tonight, and how can you watch the New York Jets vs. the Cleveland Browns in Week 17?

Week 17 of the 2023 NFL season kicks off with an interesting AFC clash on Thursday Night Football tonight — two teams scrapping for victories with one fighting for playoff seeding in the final weeks of the year. Both teams are fighting for wins and are doing so in unique circumstances.

Who Plays on Thursday Night Football Tonight?

The 10-5 Cleveland Browns are hosting Thursday Night Football tonight against the 6-9 New York Jets in what the Browns hope will be the night they shore up their playoff fate.

Quarterback Joe Flacco has come in and stabilized the Cleveland offense and allowed for the unit to be a nice complement to their elite defense. It’s a situation that the veteran quarterback has not taken lightly.

“You could tell he was excited he had this opportunity,” Tom, Joe’s brother said. “That was cool to see. Like, all right, this is sweet.”

Flacco has been everything the Browns have asked him to be, and as they prepare to take on a New York team that never called him for his services this season, he’s on the brink of adding another playoff run to his résumé.

As for the Jets, they are currently playing out the string on a season that had such promise mere months ago. Injuries and frustrations have derailed what was supposed to be their best season in decades and has now since turned the page to hoping 2024 can be a do-over of sorts.
