Week 10 of the 2023 NFL season starts with an intriguing battle between two young NFC teams trying to win now while also building for their future. Despite not including two of the better teams in the NFL, tonight should provide intrigue and storylines to follow all game long.
Who is playing tonight, what time does the game start, and how can you watch it?
Who Plays on Thursday Night Football Tonight?
- Teams: Carolina Panthers vs. Chicago Bears
- Location Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois
The Carolina Panthers and rookie Bryce Young head to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bears and backup quarterback Tyson Bagent. While neither team factors into the playoff picture, this game presents an opportunity to watch young quarterbacks attempt to prove themselves under the bright lights.
The Panthers come into the matchup just a week and a half removed from their first win of the season and are looking to build on that semblance of momentum. It’s been an up-and-down start to Young’s career, but that is to be expected given his surrounding cast. Carolina is just looking to continue to give him opportunities to grow as he projects to be the team’s starting QB well into the future.
On the other side, the Bears are looking to defend their home turf and secure their third win of the season. They’ll do so without the benefit of their starting QB Justin Fields, who is expected to miss his fourth game of the season due to injury. Bagent has gone 1-2 in Fields’ absence.

Both teams have talent that is worth tuning in for. Bears wide receiver DJ Moore has a revenge game tonight, playing Carolina for the first time since they traded him.
For the Panthers, it looks like the lead back is Chuba Hubbard, with Miles Sanders spelling him, shaking up their backfield. Can the two of them run their way to a second victory on Thursday Night Football? Anxious fantasy football managers will be sure to watch.
