Who Plays on Thursday Night Football Tonight?

The Detroit Lions will travel to Lambeau Field to take on their division-rival Green Bay Packers. The Lions are fresh off a quality win over a then-undefeated Atlanta Falcons team. The Lions were stout on defense as they were able to hold the Falcons to only six points on the day to pull out a 20-6 victory.

The Lions are now 2-1 on the season after a Week 1 statement win over the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, followed by a tough overtime loss to NFC playoff contender, the Seattle Seahawks.

Last week’s win against the Falcons put the Lions back over .500 early in the season, and with a road test against a tough division opponent, the Lions are looking to separate themselves in the close NFC North divisional race.

The Packers are coming off an important win themselves, although theirs was a much closer affair. Green Bay squeaked by the New Orleans Saints 18-17 in Week 3, giving them their second victory of the season, the first of which was a dominant road win against division foe Chicago Bears.

Sandwiched in between the two wins was a Week 2 loss to the Falcons that saw them in another tight contest, this time coming out on the losing end.

The Packers are looking to continue their decade-long hold on the NFC North, this time with QB Jordan Love at the helm. A win against the up-and-coming Lions will go a long way in reminding everyone who runs the north.
