Texas A&M linebacker Aaron Hansford delivered a strong performance at the Aggies’ campus Pro Day workout and has a busy schedule leading up to the draft
The 6-foot-2, 239-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds and had a 9-foot-8 broad jump and a 34 1/2 inch vertical leap after bench-pressing 225 pounds 24 times at the NFL scouting combine. Adding to his allure, Hansford has eight percent body fat.

Hansford has a private workout and meeting on March 28 with the Indianapolis Colts and a top-30 visit with the Las Vegas Raiders in two weeks, according to a league source.
Arizona Cardinals linebackers coach Bill Davis ran the drills at the Texas A&M Pro Day and met with Hansford.
Additionally, Hansford met with the Houston Texans in advance of the pro day, including talking with head coach Lovie Smith, per a source. He has also met with the Minnesota Vikings.
Hansford is known for his range, tackling skills, and knowledge of the defense. He led the Aggies with 89 tackles last season, ranked third with 8 1/2 tackles for loss, and returned a fumble for a touchdown.
The Texas A&M LB finished his career with 157 tackles, 18 1/2 tackles for losses, and seven sacks. A converted wide receiver, Hansford is a former blue-chip recruit from St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C.
