    Texas A&M’s DeMarvin Leal, Jayden Peevy, and Micheal Clemons to work out for Indianapolis Colts Monday

    The Indianapolis Colts are set to take a closer look at the Texas A&M trio of DeMarvin Leal, Jayden Peevy, and Micheal Clemons on Monday.

    A trio of Texas A&M defensive linemen are set for a private workout for the Indianapolis Colts on Monday, according to league sources. The Colts will audition defensive linemen DeMarvin Leal, Jayden Peevy, and Micheal Clemons in College Station, per sources.

    Leal has ideal size, versatility, and a lot of upside. A consensus All-American and All-Southeastern Conference selection, Leal had a team-high 8.5 sacks and 12.5 tackles for losses last season before declaring early for the NFL Draft.

    As a sophomore, Leal had 10 starts and had 37 tackles and 8 quarterback hurries with 1 interception. He started seven games as a freshman and had 5 quarterback hurries. He was a prep All-American and All-State selection who had 83 tackles, 6 sacks, 16 tackles for losses, 13 quarterback hits, and 4 forced fumbles. Leal added 2 fumble recoveries and 1 blocked punt.

    Clemons has overcome tough situations to succeed

    Clemons is a highly rated former junior college transfer who overcame foot and ankle injuries. He had 4 sacks and 4.5 tackles for losses two seasons ago.

    He was suspended for one game for a possession of marijuana arrest and an unlawful carrying of a weapon charge. However, Clemons rebounded to record 32 tackles, 11 for losses, and 7 sacks. He led the team with 46 quarterback pressures to rank fourth in the SEC.

    Peevy is considered Mr. Dependable

    A former blue-chip recruit, Peevy started every game last season. He was named Southeastern Conference Defensive Lineman of the Week after recording his first career interception and a career-high 7 tackles against Colorado.

    Two seasons ago, he had 34 tackles in 10 starts and was named conference Defensive Lineman of the Week. In 2019, he blocked a point after attempt against Alabama. He had 2 blocked field goals as a sophomore. A former blue-chip recruit from Bellaire High School in Houston, Peevy was an All-American selection who had 10 sacks and 14 quarterback hurries with 77 tackles as a senior.

    Peevy has an upcoming top-30 visit with the Las Vegas Raiders. He also had a dinner meeting and film session with the New Orleans Saints the day before the Aggies’ Pro Day workout. Peevy also met with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles privately and has Zoom calls with the Denver Broncos and Raiders.
