Oregon Ducks tight end Terrance Ferguson continues to make his case as one of the most talented pass-catchers in the 2025 NFL Draft cycle. Below we check out his 2024 season stats, mock draft projection, and much more.
Where Did Terrance Ferguson Project in Our 7-Round NFL Mock Draft?
In the latest mock draft from Pro Football Network NFL Draft Analyst Ian Cummings, Ferguson was drafted in the second round by the Baltimore Ravens. Mark Andrews is another year older, and bringing in a young, talented tight end like Ferguson would give Lamar Jackson a reliable weapon for years to come.
“The Mark Andrews era might be over in Baltimore. Terrance Ferguson gives the Ravens a well-rounded three-down TE with a functional route tree and red-zone utility early on.”

Ferguson’s Scouting Report and Measurements
- Height: 6’5″
- Weight: 255 pounds
- Position: Tight End
- School: Oregon
- Current Year: Senior
Here is what Cummings had to say in Ferguson’s scouting report.
“Once a four-star recruit from Colorado, Ferguson quickly grew to become an invaluable offensive piece for the Oregon Ducks.
As a true freshman in Eugene in 2021, Ferguson caught 17 passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns. The following season — catching passes from future first-round pick Bo Nix — Ferguson upped his season totals to 32 catches for 391 yards and five scores.
In 2023, Ferguson had his best campaign yet, accumulating 416 yards and six TDs on 42 receptions. Not only did he help Dan Lanning and the Ducks achieve one of their best seasons in years, but he also earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors himself.”
Ferguson’s 2024 Season Stats and Game Breakdowns
- Receiving Yards: 321
- Catches: 20
- Touchdowns: 0
- Yards Per Catch: 16
As it stands, Ferguson is worthy of mid-to-late Day 2 capital, and he could rise farther up the board with another good season.
At 6’5″ and 255 pounds, Ferguson is an extremely well-rounded TE prospect without many glaring weaknesses. He has size, length, and enough baseline play strength. He’s explosive, has fast feet, is agile, fluid, and physical — and he’s a two-phase asset with physical blocking chops, smooth receiving skills, and unflinching toughness.
When Is Terrance Ferguson Playing Today?
Ferguson and the undefeated Ducks will face off against Illinois on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 3:30 p.m ET.
The Oregon Ducks have ascended to the pole position of the AP Poll, but the story on Saturday is the Illinois Fighting Illini, who currently have a chance to make the College Football Playoff, especially with an easy November schedule.
An upset win for Bret Bielema’s squad would put them in prime position for premier postseason play. Can the Ducks defend their home turf and stave off a hungry Illini squad?
