Which Team Has the Least 2024 NFL Pro Bowl Participants?

The 2024 NFL Pro Bowl showcases the best talent the league can offer, but three teams have no representation at the all-star event.

The Pro Bowl is the annual event where the NFL brings the superstars of the league together to showcase their talents. The best players from that season come together to play in games and a flag football match, and the teams who have been successful tend to have the most representation.

However, some teams unfortunately have no representation at the 2024 Pro Bowl.

Which Teams Are Not Represented at the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl?

The Pro Bowl showcases the best players in the NFL, and therefore, the teams that have performed the best tend to have the most players at the all-star event. The same applies to those teams who had poor seasons. They traditionally will be underrepresented at the event.

29 NFL teams have players at the 2024 Pro Bowl, leaving three teams with no one in Orlando, Florida, to participate in the games.

Originally, there were four teams not represented on the announced Pro Bowl roster. The Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots, Washington Commanders, and Carolina Panthers were all originally snubed.

For the Patriots, Commanders, and Panthers, that might not be surprising. They were the three worst teams in the NFL in 2023. However, the Packers made the playoffs, finishing the season 9-8, and were very good in the second half of the season.

They won three straight games to close out their season and finish as the No. 7 seed in the NFC.

The Pro Bowl roster is voted for by fans, and Green Bay has one of the largest and most passionate fanbases in the country. So, no Packers players seemed a strange omission from the first announcement.

However, there is no representation for the Packers on the NFC roster. Defensive lineman Kenny Clark has been called up as a replacement for Javon Hargrave, who is unavailable due to his participation in Super Bowl 58 with the San Francisco 49ers.

It leaves the only teams without representation at the 2024 Pro Bowl, as the Patriots, Commanders, and Panthers.

All three teams are coming off dreadful seasons, and the head coaches of each of those teams will not be returning for the 2024 season.

Carolina was the worst team in the NFL in 2023, finishing with a record of 2-15, and fired HC Frank Reich in November after just 11 games in charge.

Things don’t get any better for the Panthers, though, as a trade for Bryce Young before the 2023 NFL Draft means they won’t be drafting No. 1 overall; the Chicago Bears will.

As for Washington, they lost eight straight at the end of the season to finish with a 4-13 record. Ron Rivera was fired at the end of the season, with new ownership wanting to head in a new direction. However, former Commander defensive lineman Montez Sweat was named to the Pro Bowl.

Washington traded Sweat to the Bears for a second-round pick during the 2023 season, and he went on to record six sacks in eight games in the Windy City.

The Patriots also finished with a 4-13 record but will be drafting No. 3 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft due to their strength of schedule. It resulted in the 2023 season being the last for long-time HC Bill Belichick, who left by mutual consent at the end of the season.
