Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are the new power couple in sports and pop culture. Probably because the game was in Minnesota, the pop star sensation didn’t attend the Kansas City Chiefs game last week for the first time in three weeks. Prior to last week, she had attended two Chiefs games in a row in support of Kelce.
Well, according to TMZ, Swift will be making her much-anticipated return to Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Broncos vs. Chiefs in person on Thursday Night Football.
Kelce briefly left last week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings with an ankle injury, sending Chiefs fans and Swifties into a major panic. But thankfully, he returned to the game and even scored a touchdown.
Despite suffering the injury on a short week, there hasn’t been any doubt leading up to tonight that Kelce will be playing tonight. But will he have another big game in front of Swift? Let’s take a look at the Travis Kelce player props for tonight.

Katz: In four games, Kelce has yet to exceed 69 yards receiving in a single game. He’s 34 years old and has dealt with multiple injuries already, including his current low ankle sprain.
Even if fully healthy, 66.5 yards is a lofty number for a guy averaging just 8.22 yards per reception. Kelce caught 10 passes last week for only 67 yards. He can easily catch six to eight balls this week and not reach 60 yards.
Currently banged up, I could easily see Kelce not playing his usual complement of snaps on a short week. The Broncos may have a historically bad defense, but that doesn’t automatically mean Kelce will be efficient suddenly.

The line for Kelce’s longest reception tonight is 19.5 yards at DraftKings, with there being more juice on the over. That’s good news for me because I like the under.
Of Kelce’s 27 receptions this season, only one of them has gone for over 20 yards. His average depth of target is currently very low at 5.8 yards, which ranks fourth-last out of 21 tight ends with at least 20 targets this season. This is a considerable drop-off from his aDOT of 7.5 last year, which would be the sixth-highest this season.
The weather forecast for tonight’s game is also in our favor here, as there is a chance of very high winds throughout the evening.
