With the Wild Card and Divisional Rounds of the playoffs wrapped up and the order of the picks for the 2024 NFL Draft beginning to finalize, many NFL fan bases are turning their attention to the NFL Draft.
This 2024 NFL mock draft will dive into the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who pick in the late 20s (barring a trade) after losing in the Divisional Round of the playoffs to the Detroit Lions. This mock draft was constructed using the PFN Mock Draft Simulator.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2024 NFL Mock Draft
Round 1, Pick 26: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
Would you believe me if I told you no defense has given up more passing yards than the Buccaneers? With the results that the unit has generated, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tampa Bay opted to move on from the massive contracts of Carlton Davis or Jamel Dean, potentially both.
Kool-Aid McKinstry is a long, smooth corner who can step right in as the team’s starting corner.
Round 2, Pick 57: Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami (FL)
Both Antoine Winfield Jr. and Ryan Neal are slated to hit free agency. While it feels pretty likely that Winfield will be re-signed, the Buccaneers have virtually nothing at their other safety spot.
Kamren Kinchens finished tied for fourth nationally with five interceptions this season and can split the field with Winfield, giving Tampa a playmaking safety when Winfield steps into the slot.
Round 3, Pick 89: Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri
Darius Robinson is more of a 5-tech but has the athleticism to play at almost any spot across the defensive front. The Buccaneers need a boost in the trenches on that side of the ball, both in the run game and in getting after the quarterback; Robinson gives them both.
Round 4, Pick 121: Cedric Johnson, EDGE, Ole Miss
The Buccaneers have struggled to generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks all season and need some help on that side of the ball. Shaq Barrett is aging, and the team will have to decide Joe Tryon-Shoyinka’s future on the other side. YaYa Diaby has been a great find as a rookie, but Tampa should continue to boost their depth here.
Cedric Johnson is a superb technician and is highly physical in the run game. He would be a good fit for the Buccaneers in their early-down fronts.
Round 6, Pick 185: AJ Barner, TE, Michigan
The Buccaneers love to run out of 12-personnel and are one of the league’s leaders in those runs. The issue is that they need a reliable blocking tight end on the team, as these runs are often unsuccessful — especially to the outside.

AJ Barner could be much more productive as a receiver, but he’s one of the best blocking tight ends in this class, if not the best. He can slide right in and help boost Tampa’s running game as an immediate impact-maker.
Round 7, Pick 218: Blake Watson, RB, Memphis
The Buccaneers haven’t gotten much out of their running backs outside of Rachaad White. The former Arizona State Sun Devil is third on the team in targets. They could use another do-it-all back to help alleviate some of White’s workload.
Blake Watson is a tad undersized at 5’9″, but he’s a patient runner who does plenty of damage in space. Weapon is an accurate description of Watson’s game, and he would be the kind of player that would help the Buccaneers continue to evolve offensively.
