Love It or Hate It? New Super Bowl Logo Revealed, and NFL World Has Questions

    Published on

Super Bowl 58 is over and now Super Bowl 59's logo has been released. Conspiracy theorists are piecing together next year's script and who it'll be.

Super Bowl 58 is over after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers, 25-22. With the result, the 2023 NFL season is officially over, and the offseason is here.

The first part of the offseason has already happened, with the NFL releasing the logo of Super Bowl 59. With a new logo comes some conspiracy theories on who’s going to be in it next year. What’s the script?

    Super Bowl 59 Logo Conspiracies

It’s official, the Super Bowl LIX logo features red and green in addition to the silver of the Lombardi Trophy. The game will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Caesars Superdome.

“The colors are horrendous,” said one NFL fan on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The conspiracy theory believes that whoever makes the Super Bowl will match the colors of the logo.

In Super Bowl 56, the logo was orange and yellow and featured the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams. Then, in Super Bowl 57, the logo was green and red and featured the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

However, the theory did seemingly get disproven in 2023. The logo was red and purple, seemingly signifying the 49ers and Baltimore Ravens. The Chiefs ended up taking down the Ravens in the AFC Championship Game, though, making it two red teams in the big game.

Despite Super Bowl 58, fans still believe that the colors dictate who’s going to be in the big game.

“Chiefs Seahawks confirmed,” said one fan. “Chiefs Seahawks or Chiefs Packers confirmed,” said another.

If the Super Bowl is to feature teams with those colors, it’s limited to the Green Bay Packers, New York Jets, and Seattle Seahawks for the green side and the 49ers, Chiefs, Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, and Houston Texans for the red side.

Based on those listed teams, the most likely options are the Packers, 49ers, Texans, and Chiefs, who all made the playoffs in 2023 and have young quarterbacks playing at a high level.

The Seahawks and Buccaneers also have strong foundations and could potentially make a run. The Cardinals and Falcons are likely longer shots to make it that far.

The Super Bowl conspiracy theory isn’t the only thing fans have noticed in the logo, though. “Created by Nickelodeon,” said one fan in response to the logo being announced.
