Super Bowl LVIII is rapidly approaching as the Divisional Round wraps up and championship games are on the horizon. With the big game now less than a month away, here is everything you need to know.
Super Bowl 2024 Information
This year’s Super Bowl will be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. ET. The game can be viewed on CBS and live streamed on FuboTV and DAZN.
It’s set to be the first Super Bowl to be played in Nevada, the 11th different state to host the NFL championship.
Super Bowl 2024 tickets will be sold directly by the NFL, not on a first-come, first-served basis through conventional sales channels. Rather, they will be made available by a ballot system in order to offer fans a fair approach to sales.
Interested fans must enter the ballot to purchase Super Bowl LVIII tickets. For such fans to be eligible, they must either be ticket holders with an existing NFL franchise or enter the league’s prize draw.
Due to the challenge those conditions present, fans usually rely on second-hand retailers such as Ticketmaster and StubHub.
The NFL has yet to release the prices for the Super Bowl 2024. It’s unlikely that the prices will be disclosed before they officially go on sale ahead of the game. Most fans will rely on the retail market to attend the game.
According to Ticketmaster, prices currently range anywhere from $8,585 to $57,500.
Super Bowl tickets are typically some of the most expensive tickets in American sports. Last year, the Super Bowl ticket price ranged from $2,500 to $10,000 when bought from official ticket vendors, while secondary market prices were slightly higher.
The two teams participating in the Super Bowl each receive 17.5% of the available tickets, which would be nearly 11,000 seats per team at Allegiant Stadium. Meanwhile, the remaining 29 teams in the NFL each will have 1.2% of the remaining tickets, about 750 per team.
Each team would have the ability to put them on sale to the general public — or, in all likelihood, will make them available to their own sponsors and season ticket holders.
Usher will headline this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, which will be sponsored by Apple Music.
In a statement, Usher said, “It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before.”
For those who are unable to get into the stadium for the game, there are plenty of other Super Bowl festivities leading up to the championship contest.
