Sunday Night Football Tonight: Who Plays, TV Channel, Start Time, Live Stream Options, and More

Sunday Night Football features teams representing each conference, both looking to turn their seasons around. The Los Angeles Chargers are hosting the Chicago Bears, and while it may not be the most impressive of Sunday night matchups, this game provides some interesting storylines to monitor throughout.

Who is playing tonight, what time does the game start, and how can you watch it?

Who Plays on Sunday Night Football Tonight?

The Bears travel to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers and do so without the services of their starting quarterback Justin Fields again for the second straight week. Instead, Tyson Bagent, the undrafted rookie out of Division II Shepherd University, will get his second consecutive start for the franchise.

    MORE: NFL Prime-Time Games 2023

In the first start of his career, Bagent was efficient en route to the Bears’ victory. He tallied 162 passing yards and one touchdown with a 72.4% completion percentage and a rating of 97.2. Not a massive day by any means, but smart and clean enough to allow the Bears to find a way to win the game. What will Bagent do in his second act?

As for the Chargers, it’s been a season of underachievement so far. While the Bolts have a young star QB in Justin Herbert and a new offensive coordinator in Kellen Moore, the success the team expected so far this season has not come to fruition. Sitting at 2-4 and looking to claw their way back over .500, Sunday night presents an important game for them.

While it looks like a wasted mission to expect to catch the 6-1 Kansas City Chiefs at this point, the Chargers still have every chance to get themselves back in the race for a Wild Card spot and into the postseason for a second season in a row.

A pair of two-win teams looking for a victory in vastly different ways and for vastly different reasons should make for good drama in front of a national audience.
