Sunday Night Football tonight will finish up a huge day of action with an AFC North battle between two longtime rivals. With plenty of NFL playoff implications on the line, the stakes are as high as they can be. Who is playing tonight, what time does the game start, and how can you watch it?

Who Plays on Sunday Night Football Tonight?

    Teams
    Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens

    Location
    M&T Bank Stadium, Maryland

Sunday Night Football tonight will feature the Pittsburgh Steelers as they travel down to Maryland to take on the Baltimore Ravens. It’s an important matchup for both teams, as the Steelers try to remain relevant in the AFC Wild Card race, and the Ravens try to keep up with the Cincinnati Bengals for the AFC North crown.

The Steelers, who currently sit at 7-8 on the season, saw the return of rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett last week after he missed time due to a concussion. Upon his return, the team managed to pull off a last-second, come-from-behind win against the Las Vegas Raiders thanks to a touchdown pass to George Pickens with 46 seconds left on the clock.

However, with a final score of 13-10, the Steelers have yet to figure out their offensive woes, even with Pickett and all of his weapons healthy. The Steelers are currently sitting 29th in points per game thanks to a lackluster passing attack that is 24th in yards and dead last in passing touchdowns at 10.

Meanwhile, the Ravens will be hoping that their star QB Lamar Jackson can make his return to the lineup after missing the last few weeks due to a knee injury. Tyler Huntley has stepped up in his absence, but the offense has noticeably struggled without the talented Jackson under center. Baltimore scored 20 or more points in nine of the 11 games Jackson started and finished but has yet to score over 17 without him.

Luckily, the Ravens have had an elite defense to rely on while their QB has been sidelined. They’re second in EPA per play and DVOA only behind the San Francisco 49ers.

As of right now, the Ravens are laying a field goal at home on DraftKings Sportsbook. This number makes sense considering the question marks surrounding Baltimore’s QB. Looking at some of the important betting trends in this matchup, the Steelers are currently 4-1 against the spread in their last five games. Meanwhile, the Ravens are 2-4 with that same metric. The Ravens are also 1-4 ATS in their last five home games against the Steelers.

PFN’s NFL team broke down this game in their weekly picks and predictions, and surprisingly enough, their lock of the week is actually on Baltimore.

“The Steelers are bad on offense in both phases, but they’re better running the ball than they are throwing it. Our sense is they’ll struggle to do either Sunday night.

The Ravens have already clinched a playoff spot. And they can capture the AFC North by winning out. The Steelers need two wins and a ton of help over the last two weeks to return to the playoffs.”
