Stefon Diggs Net Worth and Salary: How Much Is the Bills’ Wide Receiver Worth?

Stefon Diggs is one of the top receivers in the NFL, and he’s paid like it too. After being traded to the Buffalo Bills in 2020, Diggs was able to sign a mega contract extension in 2022, which sees him paid as one of the highest-paid WRs in the NFL.

How much does the star Buffalo receiver earn in 2023, and how much is his net worth?

How Much Will Stefon Diggs Make in 2023?

Diggs signed a four-year, $96 million contract extension in April 2022, which included a $21.5 million signing bonus, and offers a total contract value of over $124 million, according to Spotrac.

The contract contains $70 million guaranteed and earns Diggs an average yearly salary of $24 million. At signing, $47 million became instantly guaranteed, including his salaries for 2022 and 2023, as well as his 2023 option bonus.

The option bonus was exercised in March 2023 and was a guaranteed $16 million.

Diggs’ contract was structured so the Bills could push some of the cash into the later years of the deal, meaning he wasn’t on the books for his normal average number in 2023.

In March 2023, the Bills restructured Diggs’ contract, which converted $6.7 million of the deal into a signing bonus, clearing the equivalent in cap room for the organization to work with.

It meant Diggs earned a base salary of $1.1 million, a signing bonus of $4.3 million, and additional bonuses amounting to over $5 million.

Diggs’ cap hit was $14.8 million in 2023, but he earned a yearly cash value of $24.4 million. It would cost the Bills $45 million in potential dead cap.

In 2024, Diggs’ salary is again fully guaranteed if he’s on the roster at the start of the new league year and is guaranteed for injury.

He will earn a base salary of $17.5 million, a $4.3 million bonus, along with an additional roster and workout bonus as part of the restructure. It gives Diggs a total cap hit of $27.8 million and earns him $19 million in yearly cash value.

    Diggs’ Net Worth

Diggs has an estimated net worth of $12.5 million made up of salary, endorsements, and sponsorships.

Forbes estimates that Diggs has earned $2.5 million in endorsements and has sponsorships from Activision, Dick’s Sporting Goods, EA, Nike, Ole Spice, and Verizon among others. Over his entire career, as of the 2023 season, Diggs has career earnings of $107.6 million.

Diggs was drafted in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings and has been in the league for nine seasons. After spending five years in Minnesota, Diggs was traded to Buffalo in March 2020.

With the Vikings, Diggs earned $28.6 million in total cash, while in his four seasons with the Bills, he’s earned a staggering $78.9 million so far.
