Steelers vs. Ravens Picks and Best Bets To Score Touchdowns: Is Najee Harris a Lock?

    Published on

Our team of betting experts give their favorite touchdown scorer bets for the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens in Week 18.

Today’s first game featuring the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens has a very low total of just 34.5. But even with a total in the low 30s, there has to be at least one offensive touchdown scored, right? Here are our favorite touchdown scorer bets for Steelers vs. Ravens.

Steelers vs. Ravens Touchdown Scorer Bets

    Najee Harris (+165 at FanDuel)

Ben Rolfe: This is very much leaning on the hot hand, but the only data points I can find support backing Najee Harris to make it four touchdowns in three weeks.

The more aggressive style of Mason Rudolph has opened more goal-line opportunities for Harris in the past two weeks, and he has provided. Harris has seen 16 red-zone rushing attempts in the last two weeks compared to 22 in the prior 10 games.

Additionally, he goes against a Ravens defense that has allowed two touchdowns to opposing RBs in the past two weeks.

They allowed a rushing TD to Christian McCaffrey two weeks ago and a receiving touchdown to De’Von Achane last week. Achane also totaled 107 rushing yards, so Baltimore’s defense has been susceptible to the run game in recent weeks.

    George Pickens (+250 at FanDuel)

Brian Blewis: Since Rudolph has become the Steelers’ starting QB, George Pickens has been on a tear. Over the last two weeks, he has 326 receiving yards and two touchdowns, including one that went for 86 yards.

Pickens not only has emerged as Rudolph’s favorite target, but he also has the best big-play ability on Pittsburgh’s offense, and it’s not even close. Considering we don’t have to be overly reliant on either volume or an explosive play, it makes Pickens a very intriguing anytime touchdown bet at greater than 2:1 odds.

Melvin Gordon III (+290 at FanDuel)

Blewis: A Melvin Gordon anytime touchdown bet in the year 2024 is as gross as it gets, but hear me out for a second.

Considering Baltimore has nothing to play for, outside of keeping their biggest rival out of the postseason, the Ravens would be wise to sit both Gus Edwards and Justice Hill in this meaningless game. This is especially true when you consider they’ve already lost J.K. Dobbins and Keaton Mitchell for the season.

Gordon isn’t a player the Ravens need to save for the postseason, and he probably has even been supplanted as RB3 after they just signed Dalvin Cook. If Gordon is their primary back today, then these are really favorable odds.
