‘Malik Willis 2.0,’ ‘Hell No’ – Steelers Fans Warn Mike Tomlin To Steer Clear From Jalen Milroe Ahead of Senior Bowl Visit

Steelers fans were left unimpressed as Mike Tomlin gears up to watch Alabama QB Jalen Milroe during the Reese's Senior Bowl.

Alabama fans had high hopes for Jalen Milroe, especially after seeing how he took on the leadership role after Nick Saban’s departure. However, Roll Tide’s first season without Saban was not easy. They ended the season with an overall record of 9-4.

Both fans and analysts saw some weaknesses in Milroe’s abilities this season, but that didn’t stop him from entering the 2025 NFL Draft after he had been Alabama’s starter for two years.

While Milroe is predicted to be a first-round pick, Steelers fans are not too excited about the latest news surrounding the Alabama quarterback.

NFL Fans React to Jalen Milroe’s Upcoming Meet With Mike Tomlin

A recent report by Pittsburgh journalist Andrew Fillipponi revealed that a few Steelers scouts love the Alabama quarterback and think he’s got the potential to be a first-round pick (and even a franchise quarterback).

The report also revealed that Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin will meet with Milroe during the Reese’s Senior Bowl, the first postseason event that gives NFL GMs and head coaches a chance to better understand the prospects.

The Senior Bowl is set to take place on Saturday, Feb. 1. Tomlin will take a closer at Milroe, which Steelers fans are not thrilled about.

“Malik Willis 2.0,” one fan compared Milroe to the Packers QB.

“FYI, he played at my son’s high school. He needs a good quarterback’s coach. He really hasn’t been trained well, but he does have a crazy strong arm and talent. I would consider him or Quinn Ewers if available,” another fan gave a different perspective.

“Hell no,” another fan bluntly said.

“Does anyone watch these guys in college? This guy would be worse than Small Hands Kenny at least Kenny had 1 good season at Pitt even if he was 36 at the time,” another fan added.

“If Mike Drafts bro I’m traveling to Pittsburgh and packing his office myself! Because you already Have Justin Fields. All you need to do is hire a OFC and an O-Line Coach. That’s it! Pick 21 Should either be a WR or a CB. Or packaged to go get one of those 2,” another fan said.

“With Tomlin’s quarterback choices since Ben retired, does anyone trust his ability to analyze QBs,” another fan added.

In 2024, Milroe completed 205 of 319 of his passes (64.3%) for 2,844 yards, 16 passing touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
