The GPS certainly took the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers on interesting routes to the AFC playoffs, but both teams still have an opportunity to extend their season another week when they face off on Monday — just like you have another opportunity to find some wins on DraftKings this weekend.
A stack of Buffalo QB Josh Allen and TE Dalton Kincaid are only a few of my top daily fantasy football plays for the opening weekend of the postseason. Let’s take a closer look at some of my top DFS picks for the Super Wild Card Weekend matchup between the Steelers and Bills.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills Top DFS Picks on DraftKings
Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills ($18,900) | Captain
Allen has been nothing short of fantasy football royalty over the last four years by finishing as the QB1 or QB2 overall in four straight seasons — my goodness.
His ceiling is sky-high weekly with his dual-threat upside, which produced an absurd 15 rushing TDs this year.
Sure, one could certainly try to make a case against him being your team captain in this showdown format by pointing out his turnovers, sporadic passing production over the final month of the season, or the Steelers’ high-pressure defense causing some issues for him.
However, no one has as high of a fantasy ceiling as Allen in this matchup, which makes him well worth paying top dollar for in this format.
George Pickens, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers ($9,600)
It was a strange week for Steelers WR George Pickens. After posting two straight games with 100+ yards receiving, he failed to see a single target against the Baltimore Ravens in the season finale.
The lack of involvement in the passing game for Pickens is equally as weird as the Steelers’ QB situation. Mason Rudolph has been named the starter against the Bills, while Kenny Pickett was active but did not see the field in Week 18 against Baltimore. (For the record, that sounds a heck of a lot like Pickett got benched, but I digress.)
It may be tough for fantasy managers to simply remove their disappointment from Pickens’ goose egg of a performance, but he did post the two highest receiving-yardage totals of his career in the consecutive games preceding their Week 18 matchup.
Expect Pickens to get involved early and often against Buffalo with Rudolph under center.
Khalil Shakir, WR, Buffalo Bills ($5,600)
The continued expanded role of WR Khalil Shakir has made him an interesting DFS option at his current price. He posted his second 100-yard game of the year in the team’s win over the Miami Dolphins to secure home-field advantage until the AFC Championship Game.

Shakir has now gone for over 90 receiving yards in three of his last 10 games. Sure, he’s not yet a consistent week-in, week-out fantasy producer, but his floor has been rising consistently over the back half of the season.
Jaylen Warren, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers ($6,400)
This price for a player like RB Jaylen Warren — a big-play threat with a consistent role on the ground and in the passing game — feels criminally low.
Warren has 10 double-digit fantasy performances in PPR formats this season, which has been aided in large part by his 61 receptions. Sure, his production as a runner can be a bit inconsistent, but Warren’s high floor as a pass catcher makes him a steal for this contest.
Dalton Kincaid, TE, Buffalo Bills ($5,800)
Kincaid has been volatile as a fantasy producer this year, which is the case for many rookie TEs.
For example, if you combine his production from Weeks 15 and 16, you’ll see a horrific stat line of one catch for seven yards on four targets.

Then, combine his stats from his last two games — 11 receptions for 171 yards — and you can start to see why he’s so tough to bench.
Ultimately, Kincaid’s 15 targets over the last two games suggest Allen could continue to rely on him in big moments, which could lead to another productive game for the dynamic rookie tight end on Monday.
Allen Robinson, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers ($1,000)
WR Allen Robinson is nothing more than a cheap dart throw for this slate with his role virtually disappearing over the last two games. For some perspective, Robinson has seen just one target over the last two weeks combined.
While Robinson still hasn’t found the end zone, he’s still seeing the field. He’s playing over 55% of the offensive snaps since Rudolph took over under center. For this price, Robinson is worth a look if you decide to spend up for other players in this slate.
