Soppe’s NFL Playoffs Fantasy Football DST Rankings: Do You Need To Start the Ravens, Chiefs, and Dolphins?

    Published on

The fantasy DST rankings are tough weekly, and the playoffs are no different. Are the Ravens, Chiefs, and Dolphins worth your while?

Fantasy football is the best game out there, so why wouldn’t we re-rack things and play in the NFL postseason? To help guide you as you enter into this next phase of fantasy, here are my rest-of-playoffs DST fantasy rankings.

Which DST Should You Draft in Fantasy Football?

These fantasy DST rankings are designed to help you navigate your fantasy playoff playoff league. The rules are simple: build the roster that scores the most fantasy points throughout the entirety of the playoffs.

Of course, every league will offer tweaks (player limits per team, unique scoring bonuses, etc.), so use these as a guide more than a bible. Or, hit me up on social media with your specific situation, and I’ll advise as best I can!

Before I get to the positional rankings, the first step of succeeding in a format like this is to predict how you see the playoffs going. Who is one-and-done? What teams make it to the Super Bowl?

By no means do you have to agree with how I see things playing out, but understand that my projected bracket very much influences my rankings.

The Top DSTs To Start in the NFL Playoffs

    Baltimore Ravens

They’ve been arguably the best defense in the league all season long and will be well-rested after clinching the top seed in the AFC prior to Week 18.

I have them slated to play a pair of aggressive pocket passers, and that’s the exact sort of opponent I’d like them to face with their seventh-lowest blitz rate.

Their offense is potent, and that increases the likelihood of an aggressive opponent script — that’s all we can ask for as fantasy managers.

    Kansas City Chiefs

The top-ranked pressure defense in the league gets the warm weather Miami Dolphins in the elements this weekend before (in my scenario) getting the incredibly aggressive Josh Allen in a rematch of “13 seconds.”

This is certainly a defensive unit that comes with a significant downside given the quick-strike ability of every team I have them projected to face, but I’m in the business of targeting ceiling outcomes at my DST position, and there’s no denying that this Kansas City defense offers that!
