Shedeur Sanders has been at the epicenter of NFL Draft chatter ever since the Colorado Buffaloes’ 2024 college football season came to an end. Hall of Famer Deion Sanders’ son is expected to be a top pick in the upcoming draft, with the Tennessee Titans owning the No. 1 overall pick.
However, there have been uncertainties around Sanders’ position, and a lot of hate comments have been circulating across the internet.
Coach Prime Asks Shedeur Sanders Why Is He Getting So Much Hate
In the 2025 NFL Draft QB class, Sanders happens to be a hot prospect.
Regardless of whether he gets picked No. 1 or not, the Colorado QB has been making noise with his insane skills on the gridiron. He led the program to a 9-4 record and is expected to make strides in the pros.
On Wednesday, Coach Prime video bombed his son’s “2Legendary” podcast and asked him why he was getting so much hate among all other prospects in the 2025 draft class.
“Why are you the only kid they hating on? Why are you the only kid in the draft potential first whatever pick that they hating on. Why are you the only one?” Coach Prime asked.
“’Cause you Prime Time,” Shedeur responded with a smile.
“No, because they want you to slide to their team. It’s games. But we know the game. We are Sanders baby,” Coach Prime added.

Shedeur Sanders’ Potential Landing Spot
After the Week 18 Wild Card round games, the Tennessee Titans hold the No. 1 overall pick. It is expected that the Titans could go all-in for a future franchise quarterback, especially after Will Levis’ underwhelming performance.
He did not handle the pressure well and most likely could get benched in the 2025 season. That’s where Sanders’ role comes into play. A Colorado-like transformation should salvage the Titans’ woes, and most importantly, Brian Callahan will be able to build a roster around him.
“I love it,” Sanders said about the latest draft order with the Titans on top. “But honestly, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking. What’s meant to happen is going to happen. I don’t feel like God would ever put me in a place I’m not supposed to go. We made it everywhere that we have went and been successful. I’m not paying attention to people … What these people saying or what these people saying,” he added.
Sanders could be a great steal for the franchise if they place a bet on him, especially since the brand value of the Titans could soar to an unprecedented level. Miami Hurricanes QB Cam Ward also happens to be in contention for the top spot.
