Potential No. 1 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, Shedeur Sanders, never misses an opportunity to hype his Colorado teammates. Before the Alamo Bowl showdown against BYU, Sanders gave a big shoutout to other draft prospects in the team apart from him and Travis Hunter. Star wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. was one of them and could be a great steal for teams if they pick him.
Shedeur Sanders Makes Eye-Catching Remarks About Jimmy Horn Jr.
NFL legend Deion Sanders had a loaded Colorado roster for the 2024 season with some of the top talents in the country. Although Shedeur and Hunter’s supremacy overshadowed other players on the team, the quarterback made sure to give his teammates due credit.
On Thursday night, Shedeur mentioned Horn as a great talent: “Jimmy Horn is definitely fast. I’m really disappointed right now because Jimmy was playing through a lot of injuries this year, so I take that personal that he wasn’t able to get the numbers and able to do what he was supposed to do, because we had big plans, big everything with him, so that kind of really hurt me,” Shedeur said to the reporters.
“He hasn’t been able to show his best yet. So maybe it’s not, you know, the perfect time right now for him to hit his peak. Maybe it’s, you know, year three or year four in the league. You know, we’re on the same team for him to really maximize his full potential. But he’s able to get open. He’s able to when he’s healthy. He’s very unstoppable, and it’s tough to guard him,” he added.

Jimmy Horn Jr.’s 2025 NFL Draft Projection
The Colorado WR had a mediocre 2024 season due to several injuries.
In the Week 11 game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, he suffered a lower body injury.
It almost kept him out for the game until his regular season technically ended. Despite these setbacks, he recorded 434 yards for 33 receptions and a touchdown. He is eligible for the upcoming draft.
If he is medically fit, the former Seminole High standout could be an explosive weapon on offense due to his insane athleticism.
