Ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, Colorado Buffaloes quarterback and top prospect Shedeur Sanders has made clear that he can bring “a lot of wins” to any franchise that drafts him. While appearing in an interview session in the lead-up to the draft, Sanders made the bold claim in a video now released on social media by Deion Sanders Jr.
Sanders enjoyed a standout campaign with the Buffaloes this year and is widely expected to be one of the first players selected in the upcoming NFL Draft. On the season, he had 4,134 passing yards, 37 passing touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
Shedeur Sanders’ Bold Statement
The popular X profile ‘@SkoBuffsGoBuffs’ reposted the video, tagged Deion Jr., and provided a brief headline stating what Sanders could bring to an NFL team when drafted.
“Shedeur Sanders on what he can bring to a NFL Team : ‘A lot of wins’ 🎥 : @DeionSandersJr,” the social media release was captioned.

Shedeur Sanders’ 2025 NFL Draft Projection
In Pro Football Network’s latest 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft with trades, Sanders was selected No. 1 overall by the Tennessee Titans.
“The days of statuesque passers are a thing of the past. Shedeur Sanders is the evolution of the pocket passer. He’s athletic enough to get on the hoof and pick up first downs with his legs, but many might be surprised to hear he’s not close to the athlete his father was. Instead, he fits into the Geno Smith or C.J. Stroud-like mold.
“Sanders’ almost instantaneous release makes up for what is only a slightly above-average arm. It lets him consistently test tight windows, and his class-best accuracy helps his projection as a long-time NFL starter.
“Sanders’ pressure-to-sack rate and willingness to hold onto the ball could, and should, cause some concern. However, the context to that is he’s also operated on an NFL timeline for the past two seasons behind arguably one of the worst offensive lines in the country.”
In many ways, this relationship makes sense for both parties involved. With this draft pick, the Titans may finally be getting the long-term answer they have been looking for at the quarterback position for years.
Meanwhile, Sanders would be joining an explosive offense that already has proven NFL stars in running back Tony Pollard and wide receiver Calvin Ridley, something that could make Sanders’ transition to the pros smoother.
