Shannon Sharpe appears to be getting tired of the social media fingers coming from Buffalo Bills All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
With growing speculation involving Diggs’ pending future with the Bills, the verbose NFL legend and media personality ripped the perennial Pro Bowler for his continuous cryptic posts.
Shannon Sharpe: ‘Tired of All These Cryptic Tweets’
Fans are starting to wonder if there’s growing unrest between Diggs and the Bills. Four days ago, he posted a succinct, yet eye-grabbing, post that sparked wonder if he was going to be dealt away.
Ready for watever.

But count Sharpe as one who believes Diggs should avoid using the mobile keyboard.
“I think the Bills, just like myself, are tired of all these cryptic tweets,” Sharpe said on ESPN’s First Take.
"The Buffalo Bills are going to tolerate him until they can replace him."

He then didn’t hesitate to hand Diggs this prediction considering the posts Diggs has made.
“Stefon Diggs is going to be one of these guys who the Buffalo Bills are going to tolerate him until they can replace him,” Sharpe said. “And he’s on borrowed time because there’s always something with him.”
Sharpe Questions Diggs’ Attitude During Games
Sharpe isn’t just tired of Diggs’ cryptic posts. The three-time Super Bowl winner isn’t too fond of his attitude during games.
“They throw him the ball, and he’s complaining he doesn’t get the ball,” Sharpe said before adding how Diggs tends to retract those words too. “Then they throw him the ball and he drops it.”
Sharpe sent him this fiery message.
“Bro, everybody wants the ball. You’re not the only one. You don’t think Gabe Davis wanted the ball? You don’t think Dalton Kincaid wanted the ball?” Sharpe said.
He wasn’t through with his harsh critique of Diggs.
“I’m just so tired of every time I turn around in the offseason, it’s the shenanigans, it’s the antics like this, and the cryptic tweets,” Sharpe said.
Finally, Sharpe fired off one last strong message toward Diggs.
“Bro, just play football. You’re making tons of money and going to fashion shows. You’ve earned that right. But enough of this. It just rubs me the wrong way.”
Sharpe Isn’t Too Fond of Today’s Players and Their Attitudes
After ranting about Diggs, Sharpe then continued on by directing his attention toward the generation that the Pro Bowl Bills wide receiver is a part of.
When Sharpe won his titles with the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens, the internet was barely taking off and social media wasn’t as popular as it is now. But Sharpe believes he’s noticing a gap in attitude between his generation of players and today’s competitors.
“I tell people this all the time: I’m glad I played in the era that I played,” Sharpe said. “Because to me, guys cared more about winning.”
“Now, it’s about clicks. It’s about likes. It’s about mentions. It’s about, ‘Look at me.’ And that just rubs me the wrong way.”
Sharpe is a believer that social media has affected a team’s cohesion as well.
“It explains why some teams have success and some teams don’t,” Sharpe said.
