Latest Injury Report News and Updates
The 49ers listed only six players on the injury report this week, while the Chiefs listed 10 and put one player on injured reserve. Most of the players that San Francisco listed are key players.
Defensive tackle Kalia Davis, who has missed the last five games, will be out with an ankle injury. He is the only player the 49ers gave a designation to on the injury report.
Tight end George Kittle missed all three practices last week and has been a limited participant this week with a toe injury suffered in the NFC Championship Game.
Starting linebacker Oren Burks is dealing with a shoulder injury and had limited practice participation this week. He was hurt in practice leading up to the NFC Championship Game.
Starting defensive end Arik Armstead has been out since Week 13 with knee and foot injuries. He practiced one time last week and was limited this week.
Starting cornerback Ambry Thomas, who had surgery last month to repair a broken hand, has played in both postseason games but is now dealing with an ankle injury.

First-team All-Pro Trent Williams did not practice this week, and the team cited the reason as a “resting player.” He will play on Sunday.
Every other 49ers player listed on the injury report this week was a full participant in Friday’s practice.
