Who Are the Saints-Rams Announcers Tonight on Amazon Prime? Everything You Need To Know About the Broadcast

Who is in the booth for Amazon Prime tonight? What time is the pregame show for the Saints vs. Rams, and who will be on the broadcast set?

The New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Rams meet in a matchup between 7-7 teams on Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime. The Rams enter the week with the last NFC Wild Card spot, and the Saints are on the outside because of tiebreakers.

Los Angeles has won four of their last five to surge into the playoff race after a 3-6 start. New Orleans is also tied for first in the NFC South, but again, they are on the wrong side of a tiebreaker with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. ET, while the pregame show starts at 7 p.m. But who will be announcing the Week 16 matchup?

Who Will Be Announcing the Saints-Rams Broadcast Tonight?

Al Michaels will be doing play-by-play, Kirk Herbstreit is providing analysis, and Kaylee Hartung is reporting from the sidelines.

Michaels joined Amazon Prime in 2022 and has been broadcasting a weekly prime-time NFL game since 1986. He called Monday Night Football on ABC from 1986 to 2005 before moving to NBC’s Sunday Night Football in 2006.

Michaels was NBC’s play-by-play announcer for Super Bowl LVI in February 2022. It was his 11th Super Bowl play-by-play assignment, tying Pat Summerall for the most ever.

Herbstreit, who is in his second season with Amazon Prime, has been one of the faces of college football on ESPN since the 1990s. He played quarterback at Ohio State from 1989 to 1992 and was the team’s starter and MVP as a senior.

Hartung has worked with ESPN, the Longhorn Network, the SEC Network, CNN, and ABC during her career. She is currently a contributing correspondent for NBC’s “TODAY Show.”

Charissa Thompson hosts the pregame show that features former NFL players Richard Sherman, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Whitworth, and Tony Gonzalez.

    Kirk Herbstreit’s Season

Herbstreit has had a busy football season, calling NFL and college games each week, along with being an analyst on ESPN’s CollegeDay throughout the season. After tonight’s game, he will broadcast the final Amazon Prime Thursday NFL game between the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns next week.

Herbstreit will team with Chris Fowler for the College Football Playoff to broadcast Michigan and Alabama in the College Football Playoff Semifinal played at the Rose Bowl. He will wrap up his season with the 2023-2024 National Championship on Jan. 8 in Houston.
