‘This Was BS’ – Ryan Clark Outraged at NFL Fan Throwing Homophobic Slur at Travis Kelce

    Published on

Former NFL player and current analyst Ryan Clark backed Jason Kelce's anger towards fan over nasty Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift comments.

Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce made the headlines on Saturday due to an unpredictable event during the Penn State vs. Ohio State showdown. Kelce lost his cool after a Penn State fan made a homophobic slur towards his brother, Travis Kelce, and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

The Penn State student was captured calling out Kelce’s name multiple times before screaming out the words, “Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is a f****t for dating Taylor Swift?”

The former Eagles center was quick to lose his temper (rightfully so) and responded to the uncalled-for comment by pulling the student’s phone away from him and smashing it on the ground.

After destroying the student’s phone, Kelce asked him, “Who is the f***** now?”

Ryan Clark Defends Jason Kelce’s Actions

The clip went viral on the internet, drawing various reactions from fans and analysts. While some believed Kelce shouldn’t have entertained the student, most agreed that he had it coming.

One of those was Ryan Clark, a former NFL safety of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington. Clark took to social media to express his stance on the internet and backed Kelce:

“Nah, man! I’m with J on this one. You can’t just run up on people saying whatever you want and acting however you want to! This was BS. Homophobic slurs about this man’s brother for no reason. There should be someone who keeps folks away from J in these cases! You know why tho.”

Kelce Denies Sleeping During Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is among the most successful concert runs ever in the history of concerts. After a short hiatus, she’s back to performing in the United States and had three electrifying soldout shows in Miami in late October.

Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, confronted his brother Jason, who attended the concert with his wife and kids, about a viral picture of him from the concert.

The former Eagles star was seen sitting with his eyes closed, which made it look like he was sleeping in the middle of the “greatest show that’s ever been on stage,” according to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

Jason then explained to his brother that he wasn’t sleeping and enjoying the moment.

He said, “My hand is hovering. You can’t sleep with your hand hovering above your knee. It’s impossible, (without) major pain. I can’t sleep with my eyes open, much less my hand hovering. That’s because I’m slapping my legs.

“This is one of my favorite parts about the show ‘cause the mist of the rain had just started to get into my face. Elliotte was with Mom, so I’m like, OK, I’m just sitting here and tapping my leg, and I’m just in the moment.”

The Kelce brothers share a special bond, which is probably the reason behind the ex-Eagles star’s anger during the PSU-Ohio State matchup.
