Chicago Bears RB2 Roschon Johnson left his team’s Thursday night game against the Washington Commanders — and will not see the field again this week.
Johnson suffered a head injury in the second quarter of Thursday’s nationally televised game. After undergoing an evaluation for a concussion, Johnson was ruled out of the game.
The 6-foot, 225-pound rookie out of the University of Texas is Khalil Herbert’s backup, and rushed three times for 19 yards prior to his injury.

Fantasy Impact of Roschon Johnson Injury
The Bears’ backfield still clearly belongs to Khalil Herbert. But with this game being on a short week, Roschon Johnson was probably going to get some more burn. Before he left the game, he carried the ball three times for an impressive 19 yards. Johnson’s power running style was on full display.
Even if Johnson ends up missing a game, he is still the proper handcuff to Herbert. Fantasy managers should keep him stashed, as he possesses RB2 upside in the event Herbert were to get injured.
