As we inch toward the new season, the ever-changing NFL landscape has player fantasy values constantly on the move. Whether you’re used to the dynasty platform or are still learning the dynasty rules, let’s dive into the latest dynasty value of Rondale Moore.
Rondale Moore’s Dynasty Outlook and Value
To be perfectly candid, I’m not really sure what the difference is between Moore and Greg Dortch. They’re the same player. And the Cardinals quite literally treated them that way.
In games where Moore didn’t get hurt after two snaps or wasn’t just returning from a three-week injury, he averaged 14.1 ppg. If you could morph Moore and Dortch into one player and somehow automatically start Moore when healthy and Dortch when Moore is not healthy, you’d have a legitimate WR2.

Moore is undoubtedly a volume guy (just like Dortch). You’re not getting any splash plays with him. His average depth of target was 5.3 yards, which was outside the top 100. Nevertheless, Moore proved capable of being a fantasy-relevant receiver when operating as the team’s WR2.
Rondale Moore’s Fantasy Ranking
Moore could be Arizona’s WR2 again this season if Hopkins is traded. It’s also possible the Cardinals draft a wide receiver who leapfrogs Moore on the depth chart.
The bad news is that Moore won’t be more than the team’s WR2 this season, and I’m not sure their quarterback will be able to support multiple fantasy-relevant receivers.
The good news is that Moore will be just 23 years old this season. He may not be very valuable in 2023, but he’s got second-round draft capital, and his rookie deal goes through the 2024 season, at which point, Kyler Murray will definitely be back.
With a new coaching staff and general manager, there won’t be any allegiance to incumbent players. Moore will have to prove himself to the new regime. If he can do so, he has fantasy WR2 upside upon Murray’s return. If not, it’s difficult to envision other teams being overly excited about signing him and making him a feature part of their offense, making Moore a volatile dynasty asset. Consider him a WR4/5 with reasonable upside.
We currently have Moore at WR50 (No. 129 overall) in our dynasty Superflex rankings. Given where he’s going in dynasty startup drafts, you’re not exactly passing up on superstars to take him. With that said, there are several guys ranked below him I’d be more interested in taking a shot on.
