The New England Patriots owner has a net worth of $11.1 billion, and he purchased a massive $43 million mansion in 2021. Let's explore Kraft's lavish home.

The New England Patriots are one of the NFL‘s historically great franchises. Their owner, Robert Kraft, bought the team back in 1994. Since the purchase, he has helped bring about plenty of success, of course, underlined by Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.

The Patriots owner has a net worth of $11.1 billion, making him one of the richest people in the world. That fortune allowed him to purchase a massive mansion, which we’ll explore.

Kraft purchased his mansion in Southampton, New York, for an estimated $43 million. The home was closed through a private, off-market transaction. He bought the house in early 2021, as first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

The home was built in 2017 on the grounds of an old cottage named “A Wee Ly Mor,” which was constructed in the 1880s as a summer retreat.

The property spanned 6,600 square feet, containing 10 bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms, and four fireplaces.

The home is roughly 7,000 square feet in size and contains a modern style with large square windows. The home also includes a large oceanfront pool. The site of the home was purchased in 2013 by HFZ Capital Group for $10.5 million.

This isn’t Kraft’s first home purchase. He also owns properties in the Boston area and Palm Beach, Florida. He most recently purchased a condominium in Palm Beach in late 2022.

The condo is roughly 5,000 square feet in size and is located in the East Building of Leverett House, a condo development.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the property cost Kraft $23.75 million. This set a record for the priciest condominium ever sold in Palm Beach.

The condominium has four bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a library. The Leverett House development contains 21 units and gives each unit a poolside cabana. Among all the other amenities, the listing shows an expansive kitchen and a 1,300-square-foot terrace.

Kraft amassed his fortune from his career in paper and packaging, as well as his sports portfolio. His career began with the Rand-Whitney Group and International Forest Products companies. The two companies make up the largest privately held paper and packaging companies in the United States.
