Ravens Star Gets Last Laugh Against Bills After Pro Bowl Diss, Says They ‘Can All Go Enjoy Cancun’ Together

As confetti fell around them, Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey had one last shot to take against the Bills after losing to the Chiefs.

The closest MVP race in quite some time led to a contentious rivalry between the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens, and the two teams met in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs.

A battle between the MVP favorites came down to the final few minutes before Buffalo pulled out the win. However, even after the result of the game, the war between the two sides has continued. While the Bills got the win in their matchup, Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey had one final shot to take against Buffalo.

Marlon Humphrey Hasn’t Forgotten Buffalo Bills’ Comments

The fourth playoff battle between the Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs over the last six years lived up to its billing. With it being the AFC Championship Game, the stakes were already as high as they could get. But like the previous three postseason games between the two teams, the Chiefs were able to eke out a victory.

A back-and-forth classic saw both teams take control of the game and even establish the lead. But in the end, a Harrison Butker field goal followed by a turnover on downs for Buffalo paved the way for Kansas City to win 32-29.

As the faces in Buffalo were distraught, Humphrey, who had been extremely active on social media throughout the playoffs, reveled in the Bills’ misery.

“after the pro bowl maybe we can all go enjoy Cancun,” Humphrey said on X.

The statement was a direct response to an incident from a week ago when the two sides squared off against one another. After the game, reports emerged about Buffalo feeling disrespected around the treatment of the Ravens particularly when it came to the Pro Bowl.

Despite holding a better record at 13-4, compared to Baltimore’s 12-5, only three Bills made it to the Pro Bowl, whereas nine Ravens were selected for the games. It prompted a response in the locker room after Buffalo beat Baltimore, “Now those 9 Pro Bowlers can go to the Pro Bowl.”

Even though both teams may have had disappointing ends to their season, the rivalry between them has continued into the offseason as well.

With the awards being announced two days before the Super Bowl and both Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson among the heavy favorites to win NFL MVP, it sure isn’t going to quell any of the vitriol between the two squads.
